Stewards when considering the matter, believed that the instructions provided to Jockey J. Huxtable left it open to the horse settling in a position that wasn’t consistent with the exposed racing form. Trainer J. Bruce was advised in future that when issuing instructions that may be different to the horses exposed racing form, he is obligated to advise Stewards under the provisions of AR 100. Jockey J.
