Following a delay due to storm activity the start times for the following races were amended to:-

Race 1: TAB One Metro Win Handicap – 1800m
.
As L. Cassidy was overweight and no other senior rider was available Stewards permitted App J.  Murphy to be substituted as the rider of PEAK HILL. Jockey Cassidy was fined $100.
 
BONCOSTA – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
PLEASED – Raced three wide from the 600m.
 
PEAK HILL – Momentarily steadied near the 400m when racing between BENICO’S PRINCE and BONCOSTA.
 
 
Race 2: St Rita’s College Clayfield QTIS 2YO Handicap – 1000m
 
Jockey J. Bayliss was kicked whilst in the mounting yard, examined by the Club’s Doctor and stood down for the remainder of his riding engagements. Jockey Bayliss was replaced as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.  
 
MISS LOT WON – Jumped away awkwardly and was inconvenienced when ROTHFIRE jumped outwards. Momentarily held up shortly after making the turn into the straight.
 
THE SILVER LADY – Steadied shortly after the start off the heels of GOTTA KISS, which shifted in.
 
MALACHINI – Jumped outwards awkwardly bumping MISHANI MACHINE onto BRIGHT COPPER.
 
MISHANI MACHINE – Bumped on jumping.
 
BRIGHT COPPER – Bumped on jumping. Approaching the 200m had to be eased off the heels of MISHANI MACHINE, which shifted out. Jockey N. Day (MISHANI MACHINE) was shown the film and advised to take greater care.
 
 
Race 3: Proav Solutions Queensland Class 3 Plate – 1000m
 
CAILINI – Laid out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
SHALWA – Raced three wide throughout.
 
ROCK TOUR – A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly had bled from both nostrils during the event. Trainer K. Best was advised the filly would incur a mandatory three month ban from racing and must complete a 1000m gallop prior to racing again.
 
 
Race 4: Madison Cleaning Services One Metro Win Handicap – 1000m
 
TAKES TIME – Slow to begin.
 
SIR MAGIC – Slow into stride.
 
REAL CUTE – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
CASINO THOUGHTS – Steadied shortly after the start when tightened between SMARTYPY and JADENTOM, which shifted in.
 
RAIDEN - A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had bled from both nostrils during the event. Trainer S. Kendrick was advised the gelding would incur a mandatory three month ban from racing and must complete a 1000m gallop prior to racing again.
 
 
Race 5: Likeminded Painters Australia Class 3 Plate – 1600m
 
JOYMAKER – Slow to begin.
 
DAWSON DIVA – Slow into stride after making contact with MARMARIS. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and had to be continually restrained off the heels of JET’N’WILD. Held up and unable to improve making the turn into the straight.
 
AEECEE TONG DE – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
 
Race 6: DSS Law Open Handicap – 1200m
 
VICTORY EIGHT – Slow to begin.
 
TOP STRIKER – Slow into stride. Inconvenienced and carried wider near the 800m when CRAFTY SPIRIT shifted outwards. Bumped on a couple of occasions approaching the 200m.
 
CRAFTY SPIRIT – Commenced to race keenly near the 800m when tightened to the inside of NO ANNAMOSSITY, which shifted in. Then proved very difficult to settle and shifted out across the heels of NO ANNAMOSSITY and in doing so carried TOP STRIKER wider on the track. Bumped on a couple of occasions approaching the 200m. Jockey D. Smith (ANNAMOSSITY) was reprimanded and advised to give runners to his inside more room in future.
 
TAWFIQ BOY – Laid inwards in the straight.
 
 
Race 7: Clayfield Jewellery Open Handicap – 1600m
 
ANOTHER DOLLAR – Slow into stride after jumping away awkwardly.
 
ZOURKHAN – Pulled hard in the early and middle stages.
 
TESTASHADOW – Pulled hard in the middle stages.
 
 
Race 8: HMW Group QTIS 3YO Handicap – 1200m
 
SPIRIT HOUSE – Slow to begin and shortly after the start had to be eased off the heels of WINNING SHOT, which was carried out slightly by BETTER REFLECTION. Proved very difficult to settle in the early stages. Had difficulty obtaining clear running from the 500m until passing the 200m.
 
ATLANTIC KING – Proved very difficult to settle in the early stages.
 
PATCHES – Raced three wide without cover from the 800m.
 
BETTER REFLECTION – Taken outwards shortly after making the turn into the straight to obtain clear running.
 
 
Race 9: St Rita’s College Benchmark 70 Handicap – 1200m
 
HAPPY HOOVES – Jumped outwards at the start and in doing so bumped MASLOW out onto UTHRED.
 
UTHRED – Bumped outwards on jumping making heavy contact with TRAIL OF GLORY and blundering.
 
TRAIL OF GLORY – Bumped on jumping. Passing the 200m was disappointed for a run between IMA TEAMBOY and HAPPY HOOVES and as a result had to be checked and taken inwards.
 
MASLOW – Bumped on jumping.
 
FABULONH – Over the concluding stages was cramped for racing room when HIGH COST shifted in under pressure.
 
IMA TEAMBOY – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
SISTER KITTY MAC  - Lost an off hind plate in running.
 
App C. Bayliss (HIGH COST) was fined $100 for excessive use of the whip prior to the 100m.
 
 
Race 10: WWW.BRC.COM.AU Benchmark 80 Handicap – 1400m
 
TIME TO PLAY – Difficult to settle in the early and middle stages.
 
SPARKY LAD – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
