Race 1: SPORTING CHANCE CANCER FOUNDATION BENCHMARK 78 Handicap 2200 metres
 
HAKY – Bumped on the hindquarters by CHOCOLATIER passing the winning post on the  first occasion.
 
SAYL (GB) – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
CHOCOLATIER (NZ) – Shifted in passing the winning post on the first occasion and bumped HAKY. Over-raced in the early stages. Shifted out and raced three wide over the final 900m.
 
SAVVY OAK (NZ) – Held up for clear running from the 500m until rounding the home turn.
 
LUNASNIT -Began awkwardly. Held up in the early part of the home straight.
 
Race 2: MOORE AUSTRALIA QTIS Two-Year-Old Handicap 1400 metres
 
COCOBREW EXPRESS – Over-raced badly in the early stages.
 
HANG FIVE – Held up in the home straight until near the 250m and shifted in and bumped CLASSIQUE GAL on several occasions between the 350m and 250m.
 
FOUR MILE LANE – Over-raced badly in the early stages and approaching the 900m hung out and proved difficult to ride. Raced three wide over the final 900m. Trainer T Button was advised that a warning would be placed on the colt for its erratic racing manners.
 
CLASSIQUE GAL – Bumped by HANG FIVE on two occasions in the straight between the 350m and 250m.
 
TANTALUM – Raced three wide throughout.
 
Race 3: FISHER PAYKEL Class 3 Plate 1800 metres
 
ARCTIC WOLF – Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
CALM SEEKER (NZ) – Raced three wide throughout.  Carried wider by RATIONS near the 800m.
 
HEAD UP HIGH – Bumped by EDMONTON near the 500m.
 
MAKEDON – Over-raced in the early and middle stages and was allowed to stride forward to obtain the position outside the leader near the 1000m.
 
READ MY FUTURE – Raced three wide in the early and middle stages. Cast an off-fore plate during the race.
 
ABRACADAZZLE – Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
 
RATIONS (NZ) – Shifted out three wide from the 800m and raced three wide from that point.
 
EDMONTON – Shifted out to improve near the 500m and bumped HEAD UP HIGH.
 
 
Race 4: POLYAIRE BENCHMARK 72 Handicap 1000 metres
 
 
GLOCK – Shifted in near the 800m.
 
PRAIRIE FIRE – Checked near the 800m after being taken out slightly by ZINGALONG and tightened by GLOCK which shifted in when not fully clear. Apprentice A Thompson (GLOCK) was issued with a reprimand and was advised to provide his fellow riders with greater clearance in the future.
 
LUCIFER'S LOOT – Raced three wide throughout. Inclined to lay out rounding the home turn.
 
HIGHLAND SON – Bumped at start by DYNAMIC DUO.
 
VAPORIZING – Slow to begin.
 
MOONAN JOYCE – Raced three wide with cover.
 
DYNAMIC DUO – Bumped HIGHLAND SON at the start.
 
Race 5: FUJITSU GENERAL Class 6 Plate 1000 metres
 
LE PALMIER – Jumped awkwardly. Raced three wide throughout.
 
INGEAR – Eased near the 350m from the heels of DARE TO SHARE.
 
DARE TO SHARE – Bumped ON THE LEAD near the 350m.
 
ON THE LEAD – Bumped by DARE TO SHARE near the 350m
 
GLORIOUS RUBY –Inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 6: ENERGY AIR OPEN Handicap 1600 metres
 
HUMBOLT CURRENT – Tightened for room soon after the start.
 
STAR OF MICHELIN – Raced three wide throughout.
 
SIR BARNABUS – Hampered at the start. Over-raced in the early stages.
 
VICTORY EIGHT – Raced three wide throughout Carried wider by TREVELYAN near the 800m.
 
HOSTAGE OF WAR – Over-raced when leading in the early stages
 
TREVELYAN – Shifted out three wide to improve near the 800m.
 
JAZZLAND – Rider J Innes Jnr was issued with a reprimand under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip 7 times prior to the 100m, 2 more than permitted.
 
 
Race 7: PRECISE AIR 3YO QUALITY 1200 metres
 
RELEASE THE BEANS – Blundered after being bumped heavily at the start. Had difficulty securing clear running in the straight until approaching the 200m.
 
ZUMA CALIFORNIA – A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any significant findings, noting that the gelding returned to the enclosure with its tongue over the bit. Connections advised that they would consider adding a tongue tie for future starts.
 
GEMELON BOLT – Raced three wide throughout.
 
SINGLE DIZIRE – A post-race veterinary examination of the filly did not reveal any significant findings.
 
ZAVABOOM – Began awkwardly.
 
HAMLET VON SNITZEL – Hampered at the start when bumped Was obliged to alter course to the outside of GEMELON BOLT near the 250m in order to improve.
 
 
Race 8: HOPPY'S CAR WASH OPEN Handicap 1200 metres
 
PIZONIE – Jumped awkwardly. Cast a near-hind plate during the race.
 
 
Race 9: TAB VENUE MODE Class 6 Handicap 1400 metres
 
STARLA – Began awkwardly.  Improved onto the heels of FESTIVAL PRINCE near the 700m and shifted out and made contact with ENTERPRISE POMME.
 
STARVIRGO – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
GUNTANTES – Raced three wide with cover throughout.
 
ENTERPRISE PRINCE – Bumped heavily by STARLA  near the 700m. Was unable to secure running in the home straight and as a result went to the line not fully tested by its rider.
 
THE CULLINAN – Over-raced badly in the early and middle stages.
 
GENERAL DUBAI – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a superficial laceration to the off hindleg.
 
PREVISO -Raced three wide with cover throughout.
