SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

Sunshine Coast 2/8/2022:

Stewards today inquired into a report from the QRIC IIT, which was provided following a stable inspection being conducted at the stables of trainer Tony Haydon on Friday 15 July, 2022.

After taking evidence from trainer Tony Haydon, he pleaded guilty to a charge under AR 252A(1) in that he had in his possession at his registered stables a bottle of VAM injectable, which contains cobalt salts. Mr Haydon was subsequently fined the sum of $400. In assessing penalty stewards took into account M Haydon’s good record and accepted that there had been no evidence to suggest Mr Haydon had been using this product.
