As Apprentice T. Quinn was stood down by Racing Queensland Stewards, rider replacements were made as per the Stewards summary.

Race 1: Herb Milne Memorial Class B Handicap - 1000 metres

As Jockey Sheargold was dually engaged, Stewards permitted J. Missen to the substituted rider for GOODNESS GRACIOUS. Jockey Sheargold was fined $100.

When Apprentice N Summers and Jockey S Sheargold changed riding boots after weighing out, both riders were fined $200 under AR 118 (c).

WICKED WOODY- Tightened at the start when runners either side shifted ground.

LITTLE PADDY- Jumped out and made contact with another runner and lost some ground.

GUTZ CI- Near the 400 metres, BULLETIN BELLE rolled in and App Summers had to ease her mount.

Race 2: Jason Perry BM 65 Handicap - 1000 metres

Trainer C. Smith reprimanded for late declaration of rider for TALKING NONSENSE.

METEOROS- Slow to begin,

DE MESTRE- Near the 300 metres, hung out and raced wider on the track.

SURF FIRE- Raced three wide without cover throughout.

Race 3: Norma Lowth Maiden Plate- 1200 metres

FLICKA ROCKET- When unable to be loaded, Stewards declared the filly a late scratching at 2.46pm. Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards ordered that all bets on the horse be refunded and the following deductions to apply;

BETTY ISABEL- 7 cents Win, 14 cents Place

DIVA MISS- 16 cents Place

Mr Manzelmann’ representative was advised that FLICKA ROCKET would be required to obtain a further barrier certificate prior to its next start.

BETTY ISABEL- Slow to begin.

Race 4: Ewen McPhee QTIS Class 2 Handicap - 1200 metres

When Jockey D. Evans was dually engaged, Stewards permitted C. McIver to the substituted rider for BARBOUGE. The explanation in regard to this matter was accepted.

BARBOUGE- Difficult to load.

FERRIGNO- Difficult to load.

BOYS SPLURGE- Slow into stride.

MADAM PINK- Raced three wide without cover throughout.

FERRIGNO- Raced wide with cover throughout.

Race 5: Ken Matthews BM 55 Handicap - 1615 metres

When Jockey A Lawrence was dually engaged, Stewards permitted G. Steele to the substituted on LASTING IMAGE. In the circumstances, Jockey Lawrence was reprimanded for being dual engaged.

MANZANITA- Declared a late scratching at 8.30am. As a result, this scratching had cost an emergency a start, an investigation would be conducted with Racing Australia and Stewards would inquire at a later date.

DOMINANT PLAY- Over-raced in the middle stages. Eased when tightened over the concluding stages.

LASTING IMAGE- Raced wide without cover throughout.

MANNA GUM- Raced wide with cover throughout.

SPIRIT OF MANY- Raced wide with cover throughout.

KEV’S DESTINY- Eased when tightened over the concluding stages.
