Race 1: Fairbairn Bakery Class 2 Plate 1000m
 
BEG PARDON – Proved difficult to load and was fractious in the barriers.
 
ZIZOU SUPREME – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.  
 
Race 2: Highland Meats QTIS Maiden Plate 1200m
 
Stewards permitted Jockey M Gray to ride LOVE AND ROMANCE overweight as no other rider was available.
 
After weighing out, App. T Doyle advised stewards that he had forgotten to weight out with a safety vest and subsequently reweighed. App. T Doyle was still able to claim his full allowance of 4 kilograms. In determining penalty, Stewards took into account that App. Doyle has only been race riding for a short period of time and his forthright honesty with regard to this matter and was subsequently reprimanded for the incident.
 
GREY WIZARD – Slow into stride.
 
SOME FAIRY SONG – Bumped at the start and lost ground. Raced four wide without cover throughout.
 
SOME SUNNYDAY – Bumped at the start. Raced 3 wide with cover throughout.
 
SNOOZE – Bumped at the start. Raced wide throughout.
 
DREAM COMMANDER – Bumped at the start and 100 meters after the start.
 
SAGRE’S POINT – Bumped 100 meters after the start. Raced 3 wide with cover throughout.
 
LOVE AND ROMANCE – Raced 3 wide from 800 meters with cover and was unable to obtain clear running in the straight for a short distance.
 
Race 3: The Irish Village BenchMark 45 Handicap 1200m
 
DEBBIE’S DREAM – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow into stride.
 
MIM’S POET – Jumped inwards sharply at the start making heavy contact with FAST TRICK. Forced wide on the track rounding the home turn by another runner.
 
MISTY MONTANA – Raced 3 wide without cover in the early and middle stages.
 
Race 4: Michael Shields Ratings Band 0 – 65 Handicap 1200m
 
ONEMORE BOPA – Began awkwardly.
 
STAREENA – Shifted in under pressure over the last 100 meters.
 
NORUDDER NOCOMPASS – Unable to obtain clear running over the final 100 meters.

ATEACES – Slow into stride.
