Race 1: EMERALD JOCKEY CLUB Maiden Plate 1000 METRES
 
Due to Jockey R McMahon not being present at today’s race meeting, Stewards permitted App. T Doyle to be the replacement rider for ANDRUM.
 
ANGRY DESERT - Underwent a veterinary inspection at the start and was cleared to race.
 
TALA RIKISA - Slow into stride.
 
ANDRUM - Slow into stride and shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
ABSOLUTE BONZA - Raced wide throughout without cover.
 
SCOTTABEE - Raced wide throughout with cover.
 
Race 2: CLIFF TUCKER PLUMBING Class B Handicap 1000 METRES
 
Due to Jockey R McMahon not being present at today’s race meeting stewards permitted Jockey D Evans to be the replacement rider for ESTRELLA FELLA.
 
ESTRELLA FELLA - Slow into stride and failed to show any early speed. Underwent a post race veterinary inspection and no abnormalities were found.
 
AMAHERO - Raced wide throughout without cover.
 
WICKED GRIMSHAW - Shifted out over the concluding stages hampering CLEAR THE DEBT. Jockey M Milford the rider of WICKED GRIMSHAW was issued with a reprimand for shifting ground when not clear to do so.
 
Race 3: HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT LYONS QTIS Class 3 Plate 1100 METRES
 
Due to Jockey R McMahon not being present at today’s race meeting stewards permitted Jockey M Stephens to be the replacement rider for DRAGON PINS.
 
TOKAREV – Bumped at the start.
 
BOUND TO ME – Bumped at the start
 
DRAGON PINS - Slow into stride.
 
CRAIGLEA GALIO - Slow into stride and race wide throughout without cover.
 
OTTO’S BROTHER - Raced wide throughout and dropped out over the concluding stages.
Underwent a post race veterinary inspection and no abnormalities were found.
 
PRIDE OF DESTINY – Steadied for a short distance approaching the 900 metres when NO FINER JET shifted in. Jockey C McIver the rider of NO FINER JET was issued with a reprimand for shifting ground when not clear to do so. Forced wider on the track by DRAGON PINS near the 300 metres.
 
 
Race 4: DLV FINANCE BenchMark 45 Handicap 1300 METRES
 
Due to Jockey R McMahon not being present at today’s race meeting stewards permitted Jockey N Summers to be the replacement rider for ALL ABOUT MAGIC.
 
SCENT OF A WOMAN – Bumped at the start.
 
SYNONYMS - Bumped at the start.
 
GALSHADOW - Raced wide throughout.
 
ALL ABOUT MAGIC - Near the 700 metres steadied from the heels of MR ROSSETTI, then shifted wider on the track and raced wide for the remainder.
 
App. L Dodds the rider of BROW ROWEL was issued with a reprimand for excessive use of the whip prior to the 100 metres.
 
Jockey L Dillon the rider of ATEACES was fined $250.00 for excessive use of the whip prior to the 100 metres.
