Race 1: EVOKE MAINTENANCE SERVICES QTIS Class 3 Plate 1000 metres
 
PERSAGA – Reared at the start and lost ground. Hung out when rounding the home turn. Trainer B. Trimble was advised a warning would be placed on the mare.
 
ELVIARE – Began awkwardly. Improved onto heels near the 600m and was forced to steady.
 
STILL FEELING IT – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Brushed with TWISTED SISTER over the concluding stages.

Race 2: ELITE JUMPING CASTLE HIRE EMERALD Maiden Plate 1100 metres
 
HE IS LUCKY – Stewards permitted the gelding to race without a tongue tie in todays event due to the stable staff not being able to safely fit the gear to the horse prior to the event.
 
SOFTEN IT UP – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
BEST BEE – Bumped on jumping.
 
CASHWAY – Began awkwardly. Raced wide without cover for the majority.
 
REAL QUEEN – Slow to begin. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Apprentice T. Fenlon was fined $300 for improper conduct under AR228(b) in that following the running of race two, when in the vicinity of the weighing area, she directed obscene and offensive language towards Apprentice O. O’Donnell.
 
Race 3: FAIRBAIRN BAKERY OPEN Handicap 1100 metres
 
KRAVITZ – Began awkwardly. Shifted out to obtain clear running near the 250m.
 
DEFERENCE – Began awkwardly.
 
FRATELLINO – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
DIXIE PREACHER – As Jockey T. Chambers was overweight she was replaced by Jockey A. Sewell. Jockey Chambers was reprimanded under AR190(3) for accepting a ride when overweight.
 
Race 4: HERTZ CENTRAL QLD Class B Handicap 1280 metres
 
AIR LIFTED – Raced wide for the majority
 
PALACE HOUSE – Bumped on jumping. Over-raced in the early stages. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
THINK I'M READY – Began awkwardly.
 
DOVI'S DAY – Slow to begin
 
DESIGNING ARROW – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority.
 
MISHANI JEWEL – Slow to begin.
 
INFORMER – Began awkwardly.
 
STORMWATER – Held up when rounding the home turn.
 
Race 5: EMERALD FORD BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1615 metres
 
AURON – Fractious in barrier. Commenced to weaken from the 600m taking no further competitive part in the event. When questioned regarding the below market expectation performance Jockey E. Bell advised that after travelling well early her mount failed to respond when placed under hard riding near the 600m and in her opinion proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
 
SUPER BAZOOKA – Began awkwardly.
 
ADVERSARY (NZ) – Slow into stride. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
