GENERAL
App K Southam who was unable to attend today’s race meeting due to injury was advised she will require a medical clearance prior to resuming race riding. Replacements were made as per Stewards Race Day Summary.
 
 
Race 1: W. TITLEY & CO / ACUMENTIS CLASS B HANDICAP 800m
 
RUBY ROUNDHOUSE – Knuckled over just after the start. 
 
REDESKI - Shifted in under pressure at approximately the 200 metre point. Inconveniencing another runner.
 
VEHEMENT –Inconvenienced by another runner at 200 metre point.
 
 
Race 2: PURCELL PLUMBING & DRAINAGE / TRADEMARK BRICKLAYING QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 800m
 
Trainer of CLAIRVUE SAGA, T. Snelling was fined $100 under the provisions of ARR 106.1 for presenting CLAIRVUE SAGA to race with the incorrect saddle cloth number.
 
MISS BOYD was a late scratching on veterinary advice at 14.20.  A betting deduction of 8¢ on all winning wagers and 8¢ on all place wagers above the line was directed.
 
HARRINGTON – reared and jumped awkwardly as the start was affected.
 
CLAIRVUE SAGA – Tailed off to finish a distant last.  CLAIRVUE SAGA underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Connections were advised that the performance of the mare in the race was boarding on unsatisfactory and a warning was issued.
 
QUEZMAR – Raced wide in the middle stages of the race.
 
 
Race 3: ROTARY SUNRISE CLASS 5 PLATE 1000m
 
INVINCIBLE TAMMY – Shifted in shortly after the start inconveniencing another runner.
 
TELL EVERYBODY – Inconvenienced by another runner shortly after the start.  Tightened by another runner and lost ground at approximately the 650 metre point.  Raced wide in the middle and latter stages of the race.
 
RAIN ON ME – Shifted in at approximately 650 metre point tightening another runner.  Jockey N. Nelson was reprimanded under the provisions of ARR 131 (a), careless riding.
 
 
Race 4: BURDEKIN BRAHMANS / POWERLINES PLUS CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1000m
 
BLACK JAGUAR – Jumped in as the start was affected.
 
CEEBIZ KIT – Slow into stride as the start was affected.
 
KISS ME LATER – Raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
WRITTEN IMAGE – Raced wide in the middle stages of the race.
 
BULLET LAD – Eased across heels over the concluding stages of the race.  Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages of the race.
 
 
Race 5: MINECON/NTHN AIRCONDITIONING/L MCIVER/DOYLES DIESEL/MOLINO RACING/N YOUNG BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1600m
 
NOTORIETY – Slow to begin.
 
VAMPARINA – Slow to begin.
 
MASTER AGAR – Raced wide in the middle stages of the race.  Hung in over the middle stages of the race.
 
Jockey F. Edwards, GREY TOP, was reprimanded under the provisions of ARR 132 (7) (a) (ii) for using the whip in excess of 5 permitted times prior to the 100 metre point.
