Race 1: CHARTERS TOWERS AMATEUR CLASS B HANDICAP             1,300 M
 
AUTUMN BLOOM – was a late scratching at 11:40am after a veterinary examination found the mare to be lame left hind cannon bone when arriving on course. Trainer Mr Gavin Kinlyside was advised that a veterinary clearance was required prior to AUTUMN BLOOM next racing.
ENTERPRIZE STRIKE – fractious in the barriers immediately prior to dispatch; raced ungenerously for a short distance near the 600 metres.
COOL STORY – the all-clear was delayed after rider Denicious Smith wished to view the photo finish of the race. After viewing Mr Smith had no issue, and the all-clear was duly authorised.

Race 2: BRAGG AND ASSOCIATES OPEN PLATE  1,300 M
 
KISS ME LATER – inclined to over-race through the middle stages.
MALVAGIO – began awkwardly.
SIR ROCKET – changed strides passing the 100 metres briefly unbalancing apprentice Isabel Jessop.
 
Race 3: ENTERPRIZE HOTEL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE                    1,000 M
 
ANCIENT STYLE - was a late scratching at 12:59pm after trainer Mr Terry Kenny was unable to engage any rider for the gelding. Given that Mr Kenny had provided updates prior to today with respect to his difficulties, no action was required other than to advise him that he should secure a rider prior to travelling to race meetings and not rely on those riders not already engaged to accept the ride.
MISHANI TYCOON – proved fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Given all factors trainer Mr John Manzelmann was advised that a final warning had been placed on the gelding’s barrier manners; travelled wide throughout.
HEAD BEE – travelled wide throughout; inclined to lay in throughout and could not be ridden to full advantage over the concluding stages.
LIGHT A DRAGON – travelled wide throughout.
 
 
Race 4: AZKEEN TRANSPORT & AU CONTRACTING BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP                1,000 M
 
THUNDER MOON - travelled wide throughout.
OUR ADDICTION - travelled wide throughout.
EXTRA FREE – slow over the early stages then lost contact in the middle stages; had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the final straight. Rider Rebecca Wilson that her saddle had shifted during the running.
MISS GABBIANO – slow to begin; travelled wide throughout.
ZORAYDAH – slow to begin.
BLONDIE’S SECRET - travelled wide throughout.
 
Race 5: PEACEBUILT & MUSK ELECTRICAL 0 – 60 HANDICAP    1,200 M
 
RELEASE LE MISSILE – very slow over the early stages.
WINNING SAGA – rider Nathan Day was firmly reminded of his obligations when shifting ground, after inconveniencing INDICATIVE when taken out into clear running near the 300 metres.
MARTINI MOMENT – lay in approaching the first turn; travelled 3-wide without cover for the majority.
TOUR DE FIELD – slow to begin.
KARAKAROO – jumped awkwardly; rider Chelsea Jokic reported that the laid in throughout.
 
 
Race 6: RAY WHITE GEANEY KIRKWOOD BM65 HANDICAP             1,750 M
 
VALLEY OF DREAMS – underwent a veterinary examination and passed fit to run after competing at Mackay on Thursday 17th October 2024; bumped near the 300 metres when weakening.
VIVACIOUS AWARD - – underwent a veterinary examination and passed fit to run after competing at Mackay on Thursday 17th October 2024. Laid in entering the final straight near the 300 metres bumping with VALLEY OF DREAMS.
