RACE 1: KOTZUR BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP – 1000m

MIGHTY ROLLER – Raced wide over the concluding stages.

DUBLE MEANING – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the outside. Raced wide throughout.


RACE 2: PRECISION AERIAL RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 HANDICAP – 1000m

SET WEIGHT - Raced three wide no cover down the home straight.

DESERT PLAYBOY – Began awkwardly.

TRUE JOY – Raced five wide over the concluding stages.

NOURISHING – Began awkwardly cramping runners to the inside. Raced wide in the early stages.


RACE 3: CARTER DENTAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1200m

Stewards ordered that all betting be held on Race three at 2:25pm while Jockey R. Achini was being assessed by the Queensland Ambulance Service. Jockey Achini was found to be medically unfit to fulfil his remaining riding engagements and was subsequently replaced where available. Jokey Achini was advised he would require a further medical certificate before returning.

HAYNATRID – Declared a late scratching at 2:35pm due to no rider being available. Stewards ordered that all monies invested in HAYNATRID prior to 2:25pm be refinded with the following deductions to apply:

12 cents in the dollar for the Win #6
11 cents in the dollar for place of winner #6
11 cents in the dollar for 2nd place #4
11cents in the dollar for 3rd place #1
MUDDY PUDDLE DAY – Refused to load. Declared a late scratching at 2:59pm by order of the stewards. Stewards ordered that all monies invested in MUDDY PUDDLE DAY be refunded with the following deductions to apply:

10 cents in the dollar for the Win #6
13 cents in the dollar for place of winner #4
13 cents in the dollar for 2nd place #4

Trainer T. Dougall was advised the filly would need to obtain a further barrier certificate prior to retuning.

LETITRIPPOTATOCHIP – Slow to begin. Hung out rounding the home turn.

SPEZIA LADY – Over raced at the 600m. Shifted out at the 100m to obtain clear running.

STAR CUGAT – Slow into stride.

RACE 4: DRURY FARMING FLINTON CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1200m

LE MAX – Apprentice G. Hayes was permitted to ride half a kilogram overweight due to no other riders being available. Raced wide throughout. Hung out rounding the home turn.

KING LUDWIG – Raced four wide no cover over the concluding.

RACE 5: CRAIGS WELDING & TYRE SERVICE BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1200m

RAHDANE – Raced wide down the home straight.

HAY LIFE – Declared a late scratching at 2:35pm due to no rider being available.

TORONTO FLYER – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the outside.

CEDEE PRINCE – Tightened for room upon jumping by runners either side.

VANCOUVER STAR – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the inside
