Race 1: Agricultural Requirements Gatton QTIS Three-Years-Old BM60 Handicap 1600 metres
 
ROKE – Apprentice K Wilson-Taylor was issued a $500 fine under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 6 occasions prior to the 100m, 1 more than permitted.
 
HALCYON DAYS – Raced 4 wide without cover leaving the 600m.
 
ANGELS SHARE – Approaching the 1300m was forced to steady for a short distance and as a result raced keenly. Raced 3 wide with cover throughout the middle stages.
 
COMFORTABLY NUMB – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout the middle stages.
 
MENSCHKEIT – Stood flat footed and lost ground. Inclined to lay in under pressure from the 400m.
 
Race 2: TAB BM68 Handicap 860 metres
 
CAMBOOYA ROCK – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground. Raced in restricted room and was forced to ease for a short distance leaving the 500m. Inclined to hang out rounding the home turn.
 
LILLI LIGHTS OUT – Began awkwardly. When questioned regarding the seemingly disappointing performance Jockey B Pengelly advised that the mare failed to travel throughout.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have suffered from poor post-race recovery.
 
GENERAL WITT – Shifted in under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 3: Rock Trade Industries Maiden Handicap 1100 metres
 
MAX'S SOURCE – Began awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
DUSTY DIAMOND – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
HALOHAYLEY – Bumped by another runner shortly after the start. Trainer K Afford was advised the mare would be barred from TAB and Metropolitan meetings until form improves.
 
DREAM WEAVING – Shifted out to obtain clear running leaving the 600m. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
TEMUJIN LASS – Inclined to lay in throughout.
 
AMOUR VOLE – Began awkwardly. Shifted out shortly after the start making contact with another runner.
 
GARTMORN – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
INFORMER – Tightened for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
LUCY TOO – Tightened for room and lost ground at the start. Raced ungenerously for a short distance leaving the 700m.
 
GRANMA – Leaving the 700m, steadied from heels for a short distance and lost ground. Leaving the 600m was forced wider on the track when another runner shifted out to improve.
 
 
Race 4: Gatton View Hotel Maiden Handicap 1100 metres
 
LICENCE TO ROCK – Shifted out under pressure in the early stages of the home straight.
 
MOUNT PADRAO – Began awkwardly.
 
DOLLADREAM – Approaching the 1000m was placed in restricted room when ALAN ALAN STEVE (Jockey B El-Issa) shifted in. Jockey B El-Issa was issued a reprimand under AR131(a). Raced ungenerously throughout the middle stages. Leaving the 600m, raced in restricted room for a short distance and as a result was forced to momentarily take hold.
 
GEM SETTER –Trainer P Kalinowski advised that it was her intention to have the mare ridden without the use of the whip.Ridden accordingly. Slow to begin. When questioned regarding the seemingly disappointing performance Apprentice M Savva advised that as her mount was inclined to lay out when placed under pressure in the home straight it prevented her from fully testing her mount to the line. Apprentice M Savva also stated it may not have handled todays track conditions. Trainer P Kalinowski was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s racing manners.
 
LITTLE ALBERT – Checked and inconvenienced at the start. Approaching the 700m steadied from heels for a short distance when another runner shifted out. Raced ungenerously throughout the middle stages. Improved onto heels approaching the 400m and as a result was forced to take hold for a short distance. 
 
MADAME GRACE – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
KID MAC – Raced 3 wide without cover from the 700m.
 
ALAN ALAN STEVE – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the off hind leg.
 
Race 5: McNeil Farms Maiden Handicap 1400 metres
 
DEFINE LOVE – Shifted out under pressure in the home straight.
 
MARMION – Began awkwardly tightening another runner to the outside.
 
JONDY ALL SET – Steadied from heels for a short distance approaching the 700m.
 
GOMATHI – Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
 
REEF ISLAND – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Raced in restricted room for a short distance leaving the 600m.
 
TIME SAVER – Raced 3 wide with cover throughout.
 
Race 6: Lockyer Produce Maiden Handicap 1400 metres
 
HE'S ALL READY – Steadied momentarily leaving the 500m.
 
KERBSIDE KAOS – Pulled up by its rider shortly after the winning post returning to the mounting yard with the assistance of the clerk of the course. Post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils for the 2nd time. Trainer T Hurley was advised the gelding would be barred from racing for life.
 
ROMANCE FACTOR – Leaving the 600m, shifted out forcing another runner wider on the track. laid out in the home straight.
 
DRACONIAN HEART – Began awkwardly.
 
FROM THE GONG – Leaving the 600m, was forced wider on the track by another runner.
 
MADAME TESS – Laid in throughout the middle stages. Shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
OFF COURSE – Began awkwardly. Raced 3 wide without cover in the early stages before obtaining a position outside the leader leaving the 1000m.
 
VERVE – Held up momentarily rounding the home turn.
 
Race 7: Lockyer Valley Painting - Jason Diete BM65 Handicap 1100 metres
The start was delayed when RED WABBAT broke through the starting gates. The gelding underwent a veterinary examination and was subsequently and cleared to start.
 
ACCUMULATED – Near the 50m steadied when runners to the outside shifted in.
 
LYTAFYRE – Shortly after the start was carried wider by COSSIE and heavily buffered between runners. Placed in restricted room for a short distance approaching the 600m when another runner shifted in.
 
FIVE OXFORD – Shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
LA MAESTRA – Shifted in approaching the 600m and as a result placed another runner in restricted room. Apprentice Z Lloyd was advised to exercise more care.
 
ROUND MOUNTAIN GEM – Shortly after the start tightened for room and checked to avoid heels when LYTAFYRE shifted out and GLOBAL FACTOR shifted in. Whilst it was noted that Apprentice A Jones’ mount began awkwardly and shifted in, she was advised to make a greater effort to straighten her mount.
 
COSSIE – Steadied approaching the line when FIVE OXFORD shifted in.
 
GLOBAL FACTOR – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Began awkwardly shifting in. Shortly after the start whilst continuing to shift in was bumped on the hind quarters becoming unbalanced.
 
Race 8: Happy New Year to all our members, patrons and sponsors 0 - 58 Handica 1100 metres
 
EURO HUSTLER – Began awkwardly.
 
AFTER THE STORM – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
ZOU YORK – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
 
Race 9: RIDING FOR ABBIE - BRING ABBIE HOME 0 - 58 Handicap 1100 metres
 
MACHU PICCHU – After being injured on route to the track was subsequently was declared a late scratching @ 9:54am on veterinary advice.
 
BARTALUMBA – Began awkwardly. Steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of PETITE ELLE leaving the 700m.
 
WILD ELEMENT – Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
 
ANOTHER JUG – Began awkwardly losing a near side iron. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
HIDDEN SECRET – Began awkwardly.
 
PETITE ELLE – Began awkwardly. Forced wider at the 700m when SET TO GO WELL shifted out.
 
SET TO GO WELL – Shifted out leaving the 700m.
 
ROOTS'N'ROCKS – Apprentice T Wheeler accidently dropped his whip leaving the 100m.
 
Race 10: In Memory of Greg Steffens BM55 Handicap 1400 metres
 
SIR ROTHEWAY – As the gelding had not raced for an excess of 12 months, it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was subsequently declared a late scratching @ 3:15pm. Trainer R Smith was advised the gelding would require a veterinary certificate prior to next racing.
 
ARUBA – Raced keenly leaving the 1000m and as a result shifted out.
 
BY THE LAW – Leaving the 1000m taken wider when ARUBA shifted out. Shifted in abruptly in the concluding stages.
 
GASPARINI – Leaving the 1000m taken wider when ARUBA shifted out.
 
POINT THE WAGON – Trainer V Heading was issued a $100 fine under LR67 for the late rider declaration on the gelding. Leaving the 1000m shifted wider.
 
EPIC PLAYER – Began awkwardly.
 
WINERIES – Slow to begin. Jockey T Brooker accidently dropped her whip at 200m.
