RACE 1: Realestate.com.au Class 4 Handicap – 1400m
 
I AM IMPRESSED – Overraced in the early stages and hung in approaching the first turn.
 
SHOW COMMAND – Crowded slightly making the first turn.
 
 
RACE 2: L J Hooker Robina QTIS 3YO Fillies Maiden Plate – 1400m
 
IM SASSY – Slow into stride.
 
STRADA GRANDE – Bumped on jumping. Steadied when crowded near the 900m.
 
DAZZLING GREY – Bumped and became unbalanced near the 1300m.
 
VIENNA MOON – Held up approaching the home turn.
 
LA SCOPA – In the straight when placed under pressure continued to shift out.
 
 
RACE 3: L J Hooker Ormeau Maiden Handicap – 1300m
 
DARESAY – Hampered on jumping. Hung in in the straight.
 
HOLBROOK – Began awkwardly.
 
NICCONI PASQUALE – Hung out near the 800m and had to be steadied from heels. Steadied when crowded for room near the 400m.
 
PROTEST – Made the first turn awkwardly and hung out across heels.
 
ONIC BLOOM – Hung in badly in the straight and proved difficult to ride.
 
 
RACE 4: L J Hooker Nerang Class 2 Handicap – 1400m
 
DO DAR – Slow into stride.
 
DAZZLE EM SID – Inconvenienced near the 600m when hanging in and had to be steadied from heels.
 
OUR ROCKY – Jockey R. Plumb reported that his mount hung out throughout the event.
 
Following the running of this event the track was upgraded to a Soft 5.
 
 
RACE 5: L J Hooker Southport Class 1 Plate – 1800m
 
ISLAND SUNSET – Inconvenienced shortly after the start. Hung in badly in the straight and proved difficult to ride out.
 
CUSHTY PRINCESS – Raced 3 wide without cover until the 800m.
 
REAL ELUSIVE – Bumped heavily near the 500m.
 
PILLARA – Bumped heavily on straightening.
 
LETTER OF CHARM – Checked on straightening when disappointed for a run.
 
 
RACE 6: L J Hooker Pacific Pines Colts, Geldings & Entires Class 3 Handicap – 1200m
 
Trainer B. Hull was fined $100 for the late declaration of M. Bennett as the rider of CUSHY NUMBER.
 
OCEAN GRAND – Slow into stride.
 
CUSHY NUMBER – Began awkwardly.
 
 
RACE 7: L J Hooker Coomera Class 1 Handicap – 1200m
 
FORTUNE STAR – Bounded as the gates opened and lost ground.
 
SPEEDCUBING – Lost a near hind plate in running.
RACE 8: Aquis Raceday 6 January Class 4 Handicap – 1800m
 
ANSWERED – Stood flatfooted and missed the start.
 
SHEZA LILY – Steadied when crowded slightly after the 1600m.
 
MR SCARY – Overraced in the early stages.
