Race 1 – Andrew Knight Electrical QTIS 3YO Colts & Geldings Maiden Handicap – 1200m
 
Flying Honour – Began awkwardly, shifted in and lost ground. Hung out and made the home turn awkwardly. The rider reported that the gelding raced very greenly throughout.
 
Go Better – Pulled hard. Raced greenly in the early stages and proved difficult to ride.
 
Ronnie – Raced 3 wide throughout.
 
Sgurr Mor – Inconvenienced and forced wider rounding the home turn by Flying Honour.
 
Bold Zip – The rider reported that in his opinion the gelding failed to handle todays track conditions.
 
 
Race 2 – Next Gen Fibre & Data Networks QTIS 3YO Fillies Maiden Handicap – 1200m
 
Divine Miss Boom – Began awkwardly and then raced 3 ride throughout.
 
Miss Star – Raced 3 wide with cover. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery.
 
Too Hard to Miss – The rider reported that in his opinion the filly failed to handle todays track conditions.

Bold Enchantment – The rider reported that in his opinion the filly failed to handle todays track conditions.
 
 
Race 3 – Big Als Electrical Maiden Plate – 900m
 
As Jockey G. Colless was unable to make the weight, he was replaced on Crystal Olay by Jockey J. Taylor. Subsequently Jockey Colless was fined the sum of $300.
 
Miss Moss – Began awkwardly. Inclined to hang in throughout. Tired considerably. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
 
Ackers Way - Hung in under pressure over the final 300m and proved difficult to ride.
 
Grey Skies – Connections were advised that a warning would be placed against the gelding for its pre-race barrier manners for its reluctance to proceed to the gates and a warning would also be placed on the horses barrier manners which proved difficult to load.
 
Jete – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be lame in the near hind. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to its next race start.
 
 
Race 4 – Matt Devitt Electrical Class 2 Handicap – 900m
 
Acceptile – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as the gelding had not raced since July 2017. The gelding was passed to start.
 
Rosella Girl – Slow into stride.
 
Duellator – Began moderately.
 
Miss Blumenthal – Scrambled away as the start was effected. Approximately 100m after the start, Jockey A. Allens right foot slipped from the iron placing him at some disadvantage. The filly then shifted in and away from Holdin My Own making heavy contact with Acceptile on the hindquarters. As a result of losing his iron, lost approximately 2 lengths.
 
Holdin My Own – Inclined to shift in approximately 100m after the start. Hung in under pressure over the final 300m.
 
Archers Treasure – Raced wide throughout.
 
Pundit – Raced wide with cover. Approaching the 200m hung in under pressure and was obliged to steady from the heels of Archers Treasure.
 
 
Race 5 – Cetnaj Lighting & Electrical Cup Class 5 Plate – 1800m
 
Calypso Bay – Caught wide in the early stages and elected to improve its position outside the leader near the 1200m.
 
 
Race 6 – S & C Electrical Colts, Geldings and Entires Class 3 Handicap – 1400m
 
Nelumbo – Tightened between runners on jumping and was then obliged to race 3 wide throughout.
 
Poets Landing – After beginning well the rider then elected to ease off the pace. When questioned regarding todays performance, Jockey M. Palmer felt the gelding travelled well in the run and when placed under pressure approaching the turn, did not quicken as expected. It was also noted that the gelding was having its first start today over 1400m. Stewards noted his comments.
 
 
Race 7 – Zion Energy Management Fillies & Mares Class 3 Handicap – 1400m
 
Stewards acceded to a request by Trainer L. Mayfield-Smith to have Sunny St Cloud scratched due to the track conditions.
 
Cruz De Vega – Connections advised that their preferred option would be to settle in a more forward position from todays good draw. Ridden accordingly. Held up for a short distance approaching the turn.
 
Kendalls Dream – Slow to begin and then raced 3 wide throughout.
 
Shrapelli – Shifted in near the 1000m making contact with the rail.
 
Lucy Le Roc – Lost near hind plate in running.
 
 
Race 8 – TAB Winter Provincial Sprinters Series (Heat) Benchmark 75 Handicap – 1200m
 
Sir Magic - Raced wide throughout.
 
Victory Eight – Raced 3 wide with cover throughout. Hung out under pressure over the final 200m. Jockey C. Whiteley, when applying the whip, accidentally contacted the head of another runner inside the 100m breaking his whip which was ineffective from that point.
 
Lord Barrington – Raced 3 wide during the early stages.
 
Dreamscope - Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
Red Letter Day – Held up approaching the turn.
 
Tardis – Hung out under pressure over the final 200m.
 
Removal – Leaving the 100m, accidentally struck over the head by the whip of Jockey C. Whiteley (Victory Eight). Shifted in under hard riding near the 100m and was obliged to straighten.
