Race 1: TRADELINK: PLUMBING MADE EASY COUNTRY HEISTBENCHMARK 62 Handicap 1400 metres KAPPY CINO – Raced keenly in the early stages. NATIVE BEE – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages. MISS BULITZ – For a considerable distance from leaving the 1300m excessively reduced the tempo of the race. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. VERMUTIN – Slow to begin. Hung out rounding the home turn. FOXY ROSE – Jockey G Cartwright, the rider of FOXY ROSE, pleaded guilty to a charge under AR131(b) for failing to ride the mare out to the end of the race. Jockey G Cartwright was fined the sum of $500. PROMPT REPLY – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Blundered after clipping heels near the 1100m. At subsequent inquiry Apprentice A Patis the rider of MISS BULITZwas found guilty of a charge under the terms of AR131(d) in that for a considerable distance passing the 1300m she excessively reduced the pace of the race resulting in PROMT REPLY (Apprentice A Jones) clipping the heels of MISS BULITZ and blundering, further resulting in LUNAR LUSTREwhich was following being forced to take evasive action to avoid the heels of PROMT REPLY. App A Patis’ license to ride in races was suspended for a period of two weeks to commence midnight 13/11/2021 and to expire at midnight 27/11/2021. LUNAR LUSTRE – Near the 1100m was checked to avoid heels. Race 2: TRADEPEX: QUICK AS LIGHTNING Class 1 Handicap 1800 metres LIPEANSASS – Fractious in the barriers. Raced ungenerously when being restrained in the early stages. Laid out rounding the home turn. Jockey A Allen, rider of, LIPEANSASSwas fined $400 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for use of the whip on six occasions prior to 100m, one more than permitted. ALLUDERE -Stood flat footed and lost considerable ground. Jockey J Murphy, rider of, ALLUDEREwas fined $600 under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for use of the whip on seven occasions prior to 100m, two more than permitted.SISTINE AVENUE – Slow to begin. Race 3: TRADELINK: PRECISION IN PLUMBING BENCHMARK 68Handicap 1200 metres WHITEBAIT PATTIE - Laid in under pressure in the home straight. CLAIRVUE STAR – Over raced during the early and middle stages. Held up approaching the home turn. MOSCINI – Raced wide without cover for the majority. SUNRISE DANCER – Over raced during the early and middle stages. Held up approaching the home turn. LEESIDE (NZ) – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Race 4: TRADELINK: THE PLUMBER'S CRACK QTIS Three-Year-OldMaiden Plate 1400 metres Following the running of race three the track was upgraded to a soft 6. BRICKSTER – Bumped on jumping losing ground. Near the 1100m steadied when placed in restricted room. INNOCENT MAN – Approaching the 1100m placed in restricted room and eased when KISS HELLOshifted in despite the efforts of its rider. KING'S CONTRACT – Monetarily steadied when placed in restricted room in the early stages. KIPLING'S JOURNEY – Began awkwardly. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. RED JASPER – Raced three wide without cover throughout. Laid out rounding the home turn. SIR BANGALOW – Bumped on jumping. CHAYSE 'N' TANYA – Slow to begin. KISS HELLO - Bumped on jumping. Race 5: TRADELINK: ALL CISTERNS GO Class 2 Handicap 1100 metres MIX – Raced three wide without cover throughout. INTIMATE TYCOON – Slow to begin. Tightened for room and checked near the 200m. At a subsequent inquiry Jockey N Callow the rider of MIX was found guilty of a charge of carless riding under the terms of AR131(a) in that at near the 200m he failed to make sufficient effort to prevent MIX from shifting in resulting in MINT STRIP being forced to steady and shift inwards further resulting in INTIMATE TYCOON being tightened for room and checked. Jockey N Callows license to ride in races was suspended for a period of ten days to commence midnight 15/11/2021 to expire midnight 25/11/2021. YES YUP YAY – Began awkwardly. Race 6: TRADELINK: CALL THE BEST, FLUSH THE REST Class 5Handicap 1400 metres Following race five the track was upgraded to a soft 5. TESARC – Had some difficulty securing clear running in the early stages of the home straight. DYNAMIC THINKER – Began awkwardly. CABEIRIAN – Trainer G Doughty advised that it was the intention to ride the gelding further forward if circumstances permit. Ridden accordingly. LOVE YERS ALL – Held up rounding the home turn.BETTER THAN GROOVY – Near the 600m placed in restricted room when SNIPPETSPEED shifted in whilst racing keenly. STOKED – J Guthmann-Chester was fined $400 under AR211(1) for returning to scale in excess of half a kilo overweight. FISH ON – Raced wide from the 900m. Jockey S Bogenhuber was reminded of her obligations to ride her mount out to the conclusion of the event. Race 7: THE TRADELINK TRIFECTA: BATHROOM, KITCHEN &LAUNDRY OPEN Handicap 1200 metres JULE'S SPIRIT – Raced three wide without cover for the majority. RHYME NOR RHYTHM –Steadied near the 1000m when momentarily placed in restricted room to the inside of JULE’S SPIRIT which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. BARGANNON - As the gelding has not started in a proceeding of 12 months it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race. FISTICUFFS – Following an assurance from trainer M Mair that the following gear changes have been enacted stewards permitted the gelding to race without Blinkers, cross over nose band and earmuffs. Stewards will make further inquiries to the trainer service centre in relation to this matter to confirm if these gear changes had in fact been enacted correctly. Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages. OZARK – Slow to begin. SHIJIN – Began awkwardly losing ground. SIDEKISS – Raced three wide with cover for the majority. FREDDIE FOX TROT- Stewards questioned trainer L Kelly in relation to the seemingly improved performance. Trainer L Kelly advised that gelding had taken some time to reach peak fitness this preparation as a consequence of only having started on 3 prior occasions in the last 12 months. Mr Kelly added that with the benefit of continued race fitness and based on the horses work in preparation for toady’s event he had expected a forward show from the gelding in today’s event.
