After doing so, Jockey Oakford decided against protesting and correct weight was declared. AUTHADANE – App. G Hayes was the rider. App. G Hayes was permitted to ride the gelding a half kilogram overweight. Reared as the start was effected and lost significant ground. GORESBRIDGE – Slow to begin. ARARRAC – Raced wide throughout. PEARL’S LAD – Laid in down the home straight. LUSHNESS – Tightened and steadied near the 400 metres when IT’S WANTED shifted out and PEARL’S LAD shifted in. IT’S WANTED – Tightened and shifted out near the 400 metres when crossed by NEED FINANCE. App. N Seymour was reprimanded for shifting ground when not clear to do so. Race 2: On The Bit Class B Handicap 1000m PERLYSE WOMAN – Raced wide without cover throughout. MISS SABATINI – Race wide without cover throughout. SHE’S ON POINT – Slow to begin. Hung in for the distance of the home straight proving difficult to ride out. Race 3: AJR Removals Maiden Plate 1194m LORETTA’S ROSE – Stewards acceded to a request from Trainer B Johnson to have Jockey G Steele as the rider and was permitted to ride three and a half kilograms overweight as there was no other rider close to the weight. WE CALL HER LOLA – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start, began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide without cover throughout. Tired approaching the home turn and carried LENNON’S PADDOCK wider on the track. LENNON’S PADDOCK – Carried wider rounding the home turn by WE CALL HER LOLA. Race 4: Battle Of The Bush Easter Saturday BenchMark 65 Handicap 1194m LUCIFER’S ANGEL – Declared a late scratching at 1:05pm due to no rider being available. YEEZY – Threw its head in the air as the start was effected. RHYOLA – Stewards will seek an explanation for the late declaration of Jockey R Oakford as rider. Tightened shortly after the start. MORE WORDLY – Raced wide without cover throughout. Took the home turn wide. EXCEED ALL ODDS – Raced wide without cover throughout. Took the home turn wide. Race 5: Iron Jack BenchMark 55 Handicap 1517m WILD ELEMENT – Threw its head in the air as the start was effected and began awkwardly. MOWER – Raced four wide without cover until near the 1000 metres.
