Race 1: BRADFORD CREATIVE BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 850 metres
 
TYCOON HUNTER – Raced wide throughout.
 
LILY ALLEZ (NZ) – Raced wide throughout. Hung in over the final 250m and as a result was unable to be ridden out fully to the finish.
 
MISHANI REBEL – Fractious prior to the start.
 
CINDERELLA MAN – Raced wide throughout.
 
 
Race 2: LITTLE HOUSE OF BEAUTY QTIS MAIDEN PLATE1000 metres
 
PAULI – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
TUANAKI CREEK – Rider reported the gelding failed to handle the surface.
 
GORGEOUS KING – Proved very difficult to load and a warning was issued. Raced greenly throughout and resented the kickback.

Race 3: HALO HAIR STUDIO BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1194 metres
 
COMMENTS – Raced wide throughout. Rider D Boutet pleaded guilty to a charge under AR209(1) in that he returned to scale 1.5kg underweight as a result of failing to secure lead properly in his lead bag. The license to ride in races of D Boutet was suspended for three weeks to commence midnight 5 June 2023 and conclude midnight 26 June 2023   Acting under the provisions of AR209(2)(a) COMMENTS was disqualified from the event.

RUTTO – Fractious prior to the start. Slow to begin.
 
QUEEN BEAN – Hung out throughout.
 
 
Race 4: BRUCE CATTLE CO 2023 BATTLE OF THE BUSH GLADSTONE QUALIFIER OPEN HANDICAP 1194 metres
 
 
ISIS CARMELLA – Raced keenly in the middle stages before improving forward three wide.
 
SVINDAL – Rider advised the gelding would derive fitness benefit for the run.
 
MISTER LARRABEE – Slow to begin. Raced wide throughout.
 
MR BROSE – Raced wide throughout.
 
LIEUTENANT – Raced three wide early and middle stages before giving ground over the final 400m.
