RACE 1: B & W RURAL QTIS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP - 1200m

SHEZ OUR DESTINY – Hung out throughout.
 
PRICELESS DE HERO – Jumped out at the start. Shifted out at the 800m making contact with another runner.
 
VIRTUITY – Bumped by another runner at the 800m.
 
BAM’S PRINCESS – Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
SECRETS SURROUND – Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
CALCETINES – Forced to shift out off the heels of another runner at the 600m, subsequently racing wide for the remainder of the event.
 
 
RACE 2: LANDMARK MAIDEN PLATE - 1000m
 
RIPPER REEBA – Scratched at 1:30pm as no rider was available.
 
BLUBYTWO – Scratched at 1:30pm as no rider was available.
 
AUSTALI – Jumped out at the start.
 
LADY MARMALADE – Shifted out rounding the home turn forcing another runner wide.
 
THING OF BEAUTY – Raced wide in the middle stages. Forced wide rounding the home turn when another runner shifted out.
 
MISS LAZARETTO – Dislodged jockey W. O’Connell in the mounting yard and was reluctant to proceed to the barriers. Trainer S. McEwan was advised a warning would be placed on the horse’s barrier manners.
 
 
 
RACE 3: SCHOFIELD & CO. BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP - 1000m
 
CLOSE ENOUGH – Began awkwardly. Bucked at approximately the 800m. Checked off the heels of another runner approaching the 700m. Trainer W. Payne was advised that CLOSE ENOUGH would require a further barrier certificate before racing again.
 
CURRENT FIGURES - Forced to check and shift out at the 700m when a runner in front shifted ground.
 
ROGER THAT – Made contact at the 700m when another runner shifted out and was subsequently forced wider on the track.
 
 
RACE 4: KENWAY & CLARK/BROWN & HURLEY GOONDIWINDI PICNIC CUP OPEN HANDICAP - 1400m
 
RICH REWARD – Slow into stride.
 
NARANJA – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
 
RACE 5: RJ HANNA CONSTRUCTIONS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP - 1400m
 
STEWBALL – Stewards gave permission for Jockey W. O’Connell to ride the runner one and a half kilograms over the allotted weight due to no other riders being available.
 
JORJA’S JET – Slow to begin.
 
TARTUFO D’ORO – Held up for a short distance rounding the home turn.
