GENERAL:
 
The start to several races were delayed whilst club officials removed Kangaroos from the track.
 
RACE 1: AIR AG/AIRCAIR AVIATION RATINGS BAND 0 - 50 HANDICAP – 1200M
 
KONKOTA – Began awkwardly, and was slow to muster speed. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
 
BOWIES BAYCONI – Held up rounding the home turn. Leaving the 200m secured clear running to the inside of THE ROBBER which commenced to shift in, as a result BOWIES BAYCONI raced restricted room and had to ease and was unable to be fully tested over the final stages. Jockey S Shield (THE ROBBER) was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.
 
FABULOUS RED – Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
YOU OUI SI – Held up rounding the home turn.
 
BOLD CRUSADER – Jockey J Missen, accidentally dropped his whip over the final stages.
 
ALPENGLOW – Held up rounding the home turn.

TIDES OF FORTUNE – Jockey N Evans reported that in his opinion gelding the jarred up.
 
BONDI BATTLE – Raced wide throughout.
 
 
RACE 2: BOGGABILLA CLUB MAIDEN PLATE- 1200M
 
LILLANLIV – Held up round the home turn and again over the final stages placing its’ rider at a disadvantage to ride her mount to the finish.
PLUCKANI – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
IN SEATTLE – Raced keen early and middle stages. Rounding the home turn was disappointed for a run to the inside, shifted out for clear running over the final stages.
 
RILEY’S STATEMAN – Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 3: MORELLA AG/GOONDIWINDI COTTON BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP– 1400M
 
HIGHTOWER – Disappointed for a run to the inside and was unable to secure clear running until the final stages.
 
MR OPURRTUNIST – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
ZA’S KINGDOM – Slow to begin and bumped by another runner shortly after.
 
VICTORY LASS – Began awkwardly.
 
FLEURIEU – Slow to begin. Leaving the 1100m forced wider by another runner.
 
RACE 4: WOBBLY BOOT HOTEL/LIGHTFOOT REMOVALS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP- 1000M
 
Due to no rider being available  APPLAUSE A STAR was declared a late scratching at 13:00.
 
D’LAST ZA – Tightened for room between EXTRA SHOT and NEWCASTLE DANCER on jumping. Held up rounding the home turn until the 100m.
 
CHRISTMAS CHEER – Raced wide throughout.
 
ROSESTTA’S COMET – Raced wide throughout.
 
LADY CHICAGO – Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
NEWCASTLE DANCER – Near the 600m, after receiving pressure from the outside, jockey G Snowden had to ease his mount, in doing so shifted in slightly causing CHAMPAGNE WARRIOR and MURPHY’S COAL DUST to race in restricted room.
 
 
RACE 5: CARRINGTON COTTON BOGGABILLA CUP OPEN HANDICAP– 1000M
 
FREE BILLY – Slow to begin.
 
REIGNING THUNDER – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
