RACE 1: PAUL LYNCH INSURANCE SERVICES QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M
 
Start was delayed when the bridle of MISS SIDUAL broke in the enclosure and had to be replaced.
 
Again the start was delayed to allow club officials to remove kangaroos from the track.
 
A further delay occurred when HEY DOLL proved difficult to load. Trainer K. Waller was advised that a warning would be placed on the mare’s record.
 
A further delay occurred when OUR BOY TIGGY and SUPERVISOR became both became fractious and SUPERVISOR got its hind leg lodged in back of the barrier gate.
 
Subsequently, OUR BOY TIGGY and SUPERVISOR were declared late scratchings at 1:52pm on vets advice. Upon the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all monies invested on OUR BOY TIGGY and SUPERVISOR be refunded with the following deductions to apply-
 
1st-  13 cents the win, 19 cents the place.
2nd- 19 cents the place.
3rd- 20 cents the place.
 
OUR BOY TIGGY- Post race veterinary report revealed small lacerations to near side pastern.
 
SUPERVISOR – Post race veterinary report revealed multiple lacerations to near hind leg. Trainer H. Richardson was advised that a Veterinary Certificate would be required prior to racing again.
 
L. McCoy(SUPERVISOR) was assessed by QAS suffered bruising to her right leg and  however was cleared to ride her remaining engagements.
 
LETITRIPPOTATOCHIP –Bumped at the start.
 
HEY DOLL – Bumped heavily at the start and lost ground.
 
CYCLONE KAYCEE – Began awkwardly, shifted in bumped another runner. Raced wide without cover for the majority.
 
BOLD CROSSING – Slow to begin and was bumped shortly after by KAMILAROI.
 
MISS SIDUAL – Raced wide for the majority.
 
WALLY WARHAMMER – Raced wide for the majority.
 
RACE 2: AGRI SMART BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP - 1000M
 
Due to no rider being available FATZ was declared a late scratching at 1:30pm
 
HIDDEN SEQUEL – Held up for clear running leaving the 400m until entering the home straight.
 
CHAMPAGNE WARRIOR – Raced wide throughout.
 
HIDDEN CHIEF – Raced keenly in early and middle stages.
 
NOOR DROPPER – Began awkwardly, rider become unbalanced momentarily and lost some ground as a result. Raced very wide without cover throughout. Laid in, in the home straight.
 
RICH TRADITION – Raced wide throughout.
 
EXTRA WIDE – Raced wide throughout.

DAISY PEARL – Began awkwardly. Raced very wide throughout.
 
RACE 3: BLACK TRUCKS CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200M
 
After the declaration of correct weight, stewards identified that BONDI BATTLE and I’M FAVULOUS which were drawn in adjoining barrier stalls had started from the incorrect barrier. After taking evidence from the starter and riders it was identified that the error occurred during the loading procedure adopted by the starter. Nevertheless, both riders were reminded of their obligations under AR128(1) to  ensure that their horse occupies its allotted barrier stall.
 
BRUTUS – Bumped at the start.
 
SHE’S WILD – Began awkwardly. Steadied from heels near the 800m. Improved onto heels near the 400m and had to steady.
 
I’M FAVULOUS – Bumped by another runner near the 1000m. Raced three wide without cover.
 
HARVEY DENT – Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 4: VERN KLEINSCHMIDT XXXX GOLD GOONDIWINDI CUP OPEN HANDICAP- 1400M
 
BURNING MOUNTAIN – Rider reported that the gelding was inclined to hang out for the majority.
 
FREE BILLY – Raced keenly in the middle stages.
 
MENDELSSOHN – Tightened for room shortly after the start and lost some ground.
 
SUN WILL SHINE -  Raced wide throughout.
 
GUD ONYA – Raced wide throughout.
 
MARENOSTRO – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
 
 
 
RACE 5: MORGANS & DINKUMS DERBY - HIS FINAL LAP BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP– 1400M
 
NERO D’AVOLA – Slow to begin.
 
VIMZIG – Held up entering the home straight.
 
HIGHTOWER – Raced keen in the early stages.
 
TORONTO FLYER – Slow to begin.
 
ZATIGEROO – Raced wide throughout.
 
BALLINA BAY – Raced wide throughout.
