RACE 1: WAGNERS MAIDEN PLATE – 1200m

CHAMBERLAIN – Began awkwardly making contact with the inside barrier petition.

YAZZI JEAN – Began awkwardly.

PAT’S GIRL – Raced four wide without cover throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.


RACE 2: GRAINCORP CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200m

RESET’S SON – Began awkwardly making contact with the outside barrier petition. Tailed off and failed to finish the event. Upon returning to scale, Jockey F. Jervis advised that at approximately the 900m, her saddled slipped and she was unable to ride her mount competitively throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

THE SCOOP – Bound in the air at the start.

SUPERVISOR – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

BOLD CROSSING – Slow to begin.

WICCAN REDE – Raced wide without cover throughout.


RACE 3: QUBE PORTS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP -1000m


CHRISTMAS CHEER – Slow into stride and lost ground.

ANGEL’S SCENT – Tightened for room shortly after the start and lost ground.

SPECTACULAR ROCK – Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the inside.

CHAMPAGNE WARRIOR – Began awkwardly. Shifted out abruptly shortly after the start and raced wide without cover throughout.


RACE 4: PORT OF BRISBANE CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1000m

The start of the event was delayed when FREE BILLY got its hind leg hung up in the barriers. FREE BILLY was examined by the vet and passed fit to race.
