GENERAL
 
Due to transport difficulties Jockey C Meehan was unable to attend todays meeting, replacements were made as per the steward’s summary.
 
Race 1: Q A S CENTENARY IN GOONDIWINDI BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1400m
 
POROTA BEAN- Slow to begin.
 
DONE IT AGAIN- Slow to begin. Raced ungenerously whilst being restrained in the early stages. Raced wide throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
LADY SELKIE- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
IBERIAN LACE- Hung out rounding the turn near the 1000m.
 
Race 2: TRACK SIDE PACKAGES CLASS B HANDICAP – 1000m
 
MISTY VIEW - Apprentice J Molloy was issued a $300 fine under AR 143(14)(a) for failing to claim down to his allotted riding weight.
 
TURMOIL- Began awkwardly losing ground.
 
FRIVOLOSOPHY- Tightened for room at the start.
 
FENNIFER MAGIC- Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
 
TINY TEE- Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
Race 3: PICNICS APRIL 10 MAIDEN PLATE – 1100m
 
THE LAST DRAGON – Laid in throughout.
 
ZARAGIGI – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
OFFICE AFFAIR – Upon returning the scale Jockey S Lacy reported that the filly failed to quicken from the 600m when placed under pressure and in her opinion proved disappointing.
 
Race 4: APEX CLUB OPEN PLATE – 1200m
 
QUART POT- Had difficulty securing clear running in the home straight.
 
Race 5: YOUNG GUNS RATINGS BAND 0-60 HANDICAP – 1200m
 
PRETEXT’S DREAM – Over raced in the early stages.
 
OPEN WAR – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Upon returning to scale Jockey S Lacy reported her mount hung in throughout.
 
SPARKLING FACET – Began awkwardly.
