GENERAL

Due to QAS having to attend to Appr Jky J Metcalfe in Race 1 and the subsequent delay, all other races starting times were amended to the following: Race 1- 1.40pm, Race 2- 2.15pm, Race 3- 2.55pm, Race 4- 3.40pm and Race 5- 4.20pm. Due to no other suitable riders being available Stewards permitted Jockey N Fazackerley the following weight variation- Race 2-+1.5kg, Race 4- 1.5kg and +3.0kg. Stewards noted that in Race 5 he had approval to be +1.0. However, he was recorded as being a further 2.0kgs overweight. Stewards acting under the provision of AR190(3) issued a fine of $600 for Jky N Fazackerley being overweight on his respective mounts. Stewards advised Jky Fazackerley that +3.0 above the allotted weight was totally unacceptable.
