Race 1 – Performance Mowers & Chainsaws Maiden Plate 2YO & Up - 1100M
LOTS OF INTEREST – Bled from both nostrils.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination.  Stood down from racing for 3 months AR79.
 
PRIVATE CLIENT – Rider reported horse appeared tenderin the fore legs. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained an injury to the near fore fetlock and was stood down until a veterinary certificate of fitness is supplied.

ELITE JET – Slow into stride as the start was effected.
 
LOVEISALL YOUNEED – Shifted in under pressure at 200m.
 
EGYPTIANBEAR – Bumped another runner at start
 
STARENA – Bumped another runner at start.  Raced wide in middle stages.
 
ROCKETHEAD – Shifted in under pressure at 200m.
 
ALPHINE MAGIC – Bumped by another runner at the start.  Tightened for racing room.  Eased off heels at 200m. 
 
REDWISKA – Raced wide in middle stages.  Bumped by another runner at 200m
 
FLYING DUBAI – Bumped by another runner at 200m.
 
Race 3 – Carlton & United Breweries QTIS Benchmark 50 Handicap - 1100M
 
FRED’S GIFT – Bumped another runner at the start.
 
ANNE CATHERINE – Eased off another runner at 700m.  Raced ungenerously at 700m and again near the 500m.
 
MISS CELITA – Bumped by another runner at the start.
 
ROTHSTOCK‘N’BELLA – Inconvenienced when placed in restricted racing room at 700m.
 
LIGTNING DASH – Bumped another runner at the start.
 
PURPLE GREY -   Bumped by another runner at the start.  Raced wide the entire journey.
 
JUEUN IN NEW YORK – Bumped by another runner at the start.
 
ROSE OF KALLONI – Bumped by another runner at the start.

Stewards inquired into Apprentice Amanda Thomson’s behaviour in the weighing room when weighing out for the race. After hearing all of the evidence Ms Thomson was reprimanded in relation to her behaviour under AR 232 C ii.

GREAT PRETENDER – Slow to begin.
 
BETTER BE CAUTIOUS – Rider reported saddle shifted 400m.  Shifted in under pressure in home  straight.
 
SECRET BANG BANG – Raced wide in middle stages.
 
PRESENDENTIAL JOY – Slow into stride.
 
ZIEGELBAUER – Rider W. D’Avila, was reprimanded for use of whip prior to 100m.  AR 132(7) (a) (ii)
 
Race 6 – Cairns Hardware MM/FNQ Up & Coming Stayers/Roy Marsh Memorial Benchmark 65 Handicap  - 1800M
 
SUPER MARIO (NZ) – Tightened for racing room 1500m and again 1400m.  Bumped by another runner at 600m.
 
BARWON – Raced into restricted racing room 600m and was inconvenienced.  Bumped hindquarters of another runner.
 
KENSINGTON STAR – Shifted in when not sufficiently clear 1400m and 1500m.  Rider S. Kaya was reprimanded under AR 131(a).
