GENERAL

Due to technical issues, the photo finish did not operate for races 1 and 2. All licensees were advised of the issue and extra camera footage and judges were supplied for precautionary measures.

Race 1: BRODIE & CO BENCHMARK 50 H'CAP – 800M

MISHANI TRADER – Slow to begin.

POTHOLES – Began awkwardly.

BUGSY MALONE – Attempted to buck shortly after the start and lost considerable ground. Trainer C. Hampton was advised the gelding must trial the satisfaction of stewards prior to being permitted to race again.

ONE TUFF CUPCAKE – The saddle shifted to its off side approaching the home turn placing rider T. Brummell as a disadvantage for the remainder of the race.

RED CHEVY COUPE – Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.





Race 2: START CONSTRUCTION – KEVIN FROM HEAVEN QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1150M

OUTBACK ANDY – Bucked shortly after the start and was retired from the race. Trainer T. Parry, was advised the gelding must trial the satisfaction of stewards prior to being permitted to race again.

THANK YOU – Wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

GLUACAMOLE – Shifted wider leaving the 400m and raced very wide rounding the home turn.

Race 3: NOWLAND ENGINEERING/COLUMBA CATHOLIC COLLEGE BENCHMARK 45 H’CAP – 1150M

PURFLEET PRINCESS – Slow to begin.

SNITZEL ROSE – Raced 3 wide without cover for the majority of the race.

RAGE WITHIN – Raced 4 wide without cover for the majority of the race.

Race 4: NIVERAK SMASH REPAIRS/CLEMMENTS ELECTRICAL BENCHMARK 55 H’CAP – 1300M

DIURNAL TIGER – Raced wide for the majority of the race.

Race 5: BURKE SHIRE CUP OPEN H’CAP – 1150M

COURT ACTION – Blundered on jumping away and lost ground.

REGAL CONSERVE – Began awkwardly.

Race 6: REMEMBERING JUNE AND DIG BENCHMARK 65 H’CAP – 1500M

FAST TRACK MAGIC – Raced 3 without cover for the majority of the race.
