RACE 1: BRODIE & CO/NOWLAND ENGINERRING BENCHMARK 50 H’CAP – 800M  

ROSES NEED RAIN – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Shifted out when racing greenly near the 500 hampering another runner. Again shifted out near 400m  inconveniencing another runner. Rider S. McGovern was advised to show greater care when shifting ground.
 
COBUNGRA BOY – Began awkwardly.
 
PALM SPRINGS – Slow into stride. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
HARCOURT STREET – Raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race. Shifted in near the 500m hampering another runner. Rider D. Ballard was advised to show greater care in similar circumstances.
 
ALBERT THE ROCKET – Raced wide for the majority of the race.

NATURAL CONNECTION – Inconvenienced and clipped heels of another runner near the 500m when forced out by another runner, which was racing greenly.  
 
 
 
 
RACE 2: STAT CONSTRUCTION – KEVIN FROM HEAVEN QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1150M 
 
GALLANT SAGA – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
NAUGHTY BUT NICE – Slow to begin.
 
ECHELON ROSE – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the middle stages before improving forward to race outside the leader.  
 
RACE 3: PURSUIT MINERALS BENCHMARK 45 H’CAP – 1150M 
 
OUR HUSTLER – Began awkwardly. Raced in restricted room for a short distance near the 250m by another runner, which shifted in.  
 
ALIENATE – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SCIOLTA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SCARLET JANE – raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race. Shifted in slightly near the 250m placing another runner in restricted room. Rider S. McGovern advised to show greater care.  
 
RACE 4: CLEMMENTS ELECTRICAL/NIVERAK SMASH REPAIRS RATINGS BAND 0-65 H’CAP – 1150M 
 
MANDALONG PASS – Slow to begin.
 
WICKED INVETMENT – Began very awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority of the race.  
 
GOING GREY – Slow to begin.
 
RACE 5: BURKE SHIRE CUP/OUTBACK RACING SHOWCASE OPEN   H'CAP – 1300M 
 
WEATHERVANE – Slow into stride. Finished tailed off. Veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer J. Bawden, was advised a warning would be placed on the horse’s poor performance today.  
 
YOUR WAY OR MINE – Slow to begin.
 
REBEL ROVER – Raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
EXPAT ENVY – Put in an awkward stride near the 500m and was retired from the race. A veterinary examination failed reveal any abnormalities. Trainer J. Morris advised he would monitor the horse’s progress and advise Stewards should anything come to his attention. Mr Morris, was further advised the gelding must gallop to the Stewards satisfaction and a veterinary examination must be provided prior to the horse being permitted to race again.   
 
SPARKLING VIXEN – Raced wide for the majority of the race.    
 
RACE 6: REMEMBERING JUNE AND DIG BENCHMARK 60 H'CAP – 1500M 
 
NIGHT WOLF – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Began awkwardly and shifted in bumping another runner.
 
CHOCOLATE BOLT – Bumped by another runner on jumping. Inconvenienced by a tiring runner near the 500m and had to be checked.
 
HOT PROSPECT – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
FRENCH SONG – Race ungenerously leaving the 600m and commenced to compound near the 500m inconveniencing another runner. Rider T. Tincknell advised Stewards the mare was not comfortable on todays track surface and was reluctant to stretch out and as such, she did not place the horse under pressure over the concluding stages. Trainer N. Seymour, will be                advised that a warning will be placed on its performance today.
