Race 1 TED FISHER & BARRY FITZHENRY LIFR MEMBERS MAIDEN PLATE 1000MTRS

KIRO MUCHO DENIRO (App D McWhinney) was slowly away and raced greenly in the early and middle stages of the race.

SALLY SEQUALO (Jky I Coombes) dipped on jumping away.

MIDNIGHT AGENDA (Jky D Gill) shifted ground on the home turn.

Jky L Appo the rider of SHELAQ approached Stewards on dismounting and wished to view the Photo finish print claiming he ran third not fourth as displayed by the Judge. As the photo finish equipment failed to work Stewards used the patrol video in the enquiry into this complaint. After viewing the patrol video Jky K Sawyers the ride of PEEP placed third by the Judge conceded he in fact ran fourth. This was supported by the Trainer of PEEP Mr Maudsley. Stewards amended the places to show SHELAQ (L Appo) third and PEED (Jky K Sawyers) fourth. Bookmakers and the public were advised of the change in placing via the public address system and correct weight was given.

The winner MIDNIGHTMARE was swabbed.

Race 2 KEN GEAR CLASS B HCP 1150MTRS

(1) TENDANE (2) HEWILLDO (3) ALL DIEHARD (4) LILCHAN

RIO MAGIC (Jky C Kearney) and SHILOH CREEK (Jky L Appo) was slowly away

MACREEDY (App D McWhinney) was tighten between TENDANE (Jky R Hancock) and LILCHAN (App J Kropp) rounding the 1000mtr corner.

Stewards questioned Jky L Appo the rider of SHILOH CREEK regard the run of this mare from the 1000mtr to the winning post. Jky Appo stated this is the first time the mare has raced on sand and did not handle the sand surface. Explanation was noted by Stewards.

The winner TENDANE was swabbed.

Race 3 GWENDA KLEINHANSS MEMORIAL MAIDEN PLATE 1465MTRS

(1) Mr MAGORIUM (2) TIC TOC TIGER (3) CRAIGLEA ROCKET (4) MISS IRONSIDE

A protest was lodged by App K Mizobe the rider of third placed CRAIGLEA ROCKET against the winner Mr MAGORIUM ridden by App D McWhinney claiming interference on the home turn. After hearing evidence from all parties and viewing the patrol video Stewards dismissed the objection with correct weight announced on the Judged placing.

At a further inquiry App D McWhinney the rider of Mr MAGORIUM was severely reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift ground making contact with CRAIGLEA ROCKET (App K Mizobe) on two occasions.
The winner Mr MAGORIUM was swabbed.

Race 4 KEN HOOPER CLASS 3 PLATE 1465MTRS

(1) COEN (2) FRENARDI (3) KALMAN (4) FLAMING NOTE

HEWILLDO starting for the second time today was cleared to start by the Club Vet.

SWORD OF HONOUR (App J Kropp) dwelt at the start.

Rounding the 850mtr corner COEN (App K James) shifted in making contact with FLAMING NOTE (Jky D Gill)

HEWILLDO (App G Butler) shifted ground on the home turn.

The winner COEN was swabbed.

Race 5 MERV WELCH OPEN HCP 1150MTRS

(1) FINAL CRUNCH (2) PICKASTAR (3) DON HERNANDO (4) LACKADOSH

WINGS OF SERAPH (App A Kitson) was tightened between FUHRMIDABLE (App D McWhinney) and LACKADOSH (App K Mizobe) on jumping away.

The winner FINAL CRUNCH was swabbed.
