Race 1: PLANSMART DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS Class B H’CAP – 850M

ELECTION DAY – Slow to begin.

HONEY BABE – Slow to begin.


Race 2: BAMBLING RURAL MAIDEN PLATE – 1030M

STAGE ACT – Slow to begin. Resented the sand kick back from other runners and hung out throughout taking no competitive part in the event. Trainer B Gill advised stewards that the horse would now be retired.

CIMARRON KID – Relinquished the lead near the 700m and then lost ground when resenting the sand kick back from the leaders.

BEL ABOVE – Resented kick back from other runners during the early stages until the 400m when able to shift wider on the track to obtain clear running.

SANDY STRAITS – Saddle slipped over the concluding stages resulting in rider M McDonald being dislodged after passing the winning post. Jockey McDonald was subsequently transported to hospital for observation.


Race 3: BRAD JOHNS PLUMBER Benchmark 50 H’CAP – 1170M

BENEVOLENT LAD – Slow to begin and took no competitive part due resenting the sand kick back from other runners.

ENVIRONMENTAL – Slow to begin.



Race 4: GARRARD’S VETERINARY SERVICES Benchmark 65 H’CAP – 1170M

OSTERIA – Significantly slow to begin.

FLYING CHARGER – Slow to begin and resented the sand kick back from other runners.
