Race 1: SUCCULENT AUSTRALIAN BEEF CLASS B H’CAP 850M
 
RELIABLE LASS – Stood flat footed and lost ground, resented the kickback. Jockey S Sweeney reported that her saddle had shifted back on jumping
 
MR FUJI – Was inclined to lay in in the straight
 
CIMARRON KID – Was inclined to lay in in the straight
 
CRAIGLEA KARLY – Slow to begin and resented the kickback when trailing the field.
 
OUR SWEET LOVE – Jockey B Andrews reported that her saddle shifted back in running
 
ROCKSHORE – Approaching the 700m was checked and lost ground. Jockey B Andrews (OUR SWEET LOVE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that approaching the 700m she permitted her mount to shift out when insufficiently clear of the runners to her outside in ROCKSHORE and MISS TAYLOR, who’s riders had to take hold and lose ground at that point of the race.  Jockey B Andrew’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of seven (7) days to commence midnight 29 August 2020 and expire midnight 5 September 2020. Raced wide throughout
 
MISS TAYLOR – Approaching the 700m was checked and lost ground.
 
SENKO SIDRA – Raced wide
 
EL NINO’S CHOICE – Raced wide without cover throughout and hung out rounding the home turn

 
 

 
Race 2: NAB MORE THAN MONEY QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1170M
 
ARCING HARD – Jumped awkwardly and was slow to begin. Hung out round the first turn and commenced race keenly. Approached the 700m improved on the heels of CITY DIVA and had to be steadied
 
OUR OMEN – Slow to begin and failed to remain competitive throughout. Trainer M Mair was advised that the gelding will be required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before racing again.
 
PRESTISSIMO – Raced wide throughout and laid in under pressure in the straight
 
HE’S HIDDEN AGENDA – Shifted out on jumping and tightened runners to its outside
 
YOUPE – Tightened between runners on jumping and lost ground
 
ARRIVERDERCI ROMA – Tightened between runners on jumping and lost ground. Laid in under pressure in the straight
 
IQELA – Jumped awkwardly and shifted in and tightened runners to its inside. Raced wide in the early stages
 
DATAI – Raced wide throughout

Race 3: NOLAN PRIVATE SELECTION B’MARK 50 H’CAP 1170M

OURLASTPENNY– Approaching the 1000m was tightened between runners, had to be severely checked and lost ground. App. S Stephan (MY CERTAIN) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that approaching the 1000m she permitted her mount to shift in onto KENTFORD taking that runner in onto OURLASTPENNY who as severely checked and lost ground and continued to further shift in onto YEAH THE BOYS was also had to be checked and lost ground. App. S Stephan’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of thirteen (13) days to commence midnight 22 August 2020 and expire midnight 4 September 2020.
 
SIP SIP SIP – Proved difficult to load and was fractious in the barriers. Reared slightly as the start was affected and lost ground
 
LUCKY MACHU – Stood flat footed and lost ground
 
KENTFORD – Approaching the 1000m was taken in onto OURLASTPENNY by MY CERTAIN
 
HEZAGIGOLO – Raced wide in the early and middle stages
 
QUEENOFMAINSTREET – Raced wide throughout
 

Race 4: NOLAN VALE B’MARK 60 H’CAP 1030M
 
PATCHE GIFT – Slow to begin
 
LIL RUBY ROSE – Jockey R Faehr reported that his mount hung out in the first turn.
 
ATOMIC MISSILE –Fell near the 900m, dislodging its rider (K Gate). After taking initial evidence from the riders in the immediate vicinity, Stewards adjourned the inquiry to allow for jockey K Gates who was transported to hospital to be present to give evidence.
 
GOSSIAUX – Passing the 700m the gelding resented the kickback when trailing the field
 
LOADED AND READY – Slow to begin and raced wide throughout
 
MINOAN SPIRIT - Slow to begin. Approaching the 900m had to take evasive action and shift wider to avoid the fallen horse and rider and raced wide for the remainder. Laid in under pressure in the straight
 
LAYLA’S LAD – Slow to begin, approaching the 900m was taken wider by MINOAN SPIRIT and raced wide for the remainder
 
BEL SELEVA – A post-race veterinary inspection of the mare revealed lacerations to its off hind leg indicative of being galloped in in today’s event. Trainer G Richardson advised it was his intention to retire the mare from racing. Trainer was advised that the mare would require a vet clearance prior to racing again.

ELUSIVE ELEMENT – Slow to begin
 
UBIRR ROCK – Resented the kickback when trailing the field
 
NINE CIGARS – Hung out rounding the home turn and was inclined to lay out under pressure in the straight
