Stewards delayed declaration of Correct Weight in order to consider an objection lodged by Jockey R McMahion who rode 2nd placegetter FIVEACLOCKSOMWHERE against 1st placegetter MY BOY TICKETS (W D’Avila) alleging interference passing the 100m. After hearing submissions from connections of both horses and viewing the relevant footage, it was established that MY BOY TICKETS had commenced to shift out under riding passing the 100m and in doing so had encroached onto the running of FIVEACLOCKSOMWHERE which was forced off its line and lost momentum for a few strides. In consideration of the nose margin which separated the 2 runners at the winning post Stewards upheld Jockey McMahon’s objection and ordered the reversal of 1st and 2nd placings with the new placings being:

1st        FIVEACLOCKSOMWHERE
2nd        MY BOY TICKETS
