GENERAL
 
Prior to the running of Race 1, all Jockeys were alcohol breath tested and returned 0.00 readings.
 

Race 1: OPEN PLATE 1000m
 
Primal Scream – Jumped outwards at the start hampering Thunder Moon. Raced in restricted room between Tiger Legend.
 
Splasher – Apprentice S Nielson was permitted to ride the gelding at the allocated weight (61.5 kg) and take no claim when no other apprentice rider was available.
Raced wide throughout. Raced in restricted room between Tiger Legend  and Primal Scream over the concluding stages, both of which shifted ground marginally.
 
Tiger Legend – Improved onto the heels of Primal Scream at the 650 metres and had to be steadied momentarily. Lost an offside fore front plate in running and shifted the offside rear plate as well.
 
Wicked Wiki- Raced three wide throughout.
 
Thunder Moon – Apprentice T Townsend was dislodged when mounting up in the parade ring and was uninjured in this occurrence.Hampered at the start by Primal Scream which shifted out.
 
Eyewitness – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 2: BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1000m
 
 
Great Iam – Raced wide and lost the off-hind plate in running.
 
Fav’s Flyer – Hampered at the start by another runner which jumped outwards.
 
Act Of Royalty – Jumped out and bumped Fav’s Flyer at the start.
 
Explosive Girl – Began awkwardly , lost ground and then raced wide throughout.
 
Fudging – Dislodged Jockey D Smith on route to the barriers who immediately restrained the gelding. Neither suffered any injury in this incident.
 
 
Race 3: QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1180m
 
 
Vagabond Prince –  Fractious in the barriers and jumped awkwardly losing ground. Raced ungenerously throughout.
 
Kai Come – Slow into stride.
 
Miss De Boom – Brushed the running rail at the 650 metres.
 
 
Race 4: RATINGS BAND 0-60 HANDICAP 1180m
 
 
Dawn Strike – Raced wide throughout.
 
 
Fergyliscious – Slow to begin.
 
Inner Spirit – Raced wide throughout and tired over the concluding stages.
 
 
Wintilly – Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
 
 
Chatilly – Raced wide throughout.
 
Rockstar Dreams – Raced three wide throughout.
 
Race 5: BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1460m
 
Onthetake -  A late change of rider was approved to Apprentice E Molloy replacing Apprentice S Nielson who was unable to claim any allowance below the allocated weight. Slow to begin.
 
Baby Guinness -  Cast a near side hind plate at the 250 metres.
 
 
Bells Approaching – Race wide the majority.
 
 
Blend – Hampered at the 300 metres behind Donenothing which was losing ground. Jockey G Kliese reported that Blend resented the whip over the concluding stages.
