Race 1: 100 YEARS OF VOLUNTEERS QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1180 Metres
 
MARREW FANCY NANCY – As no other rider was available jockey A. Holt was permitted to ride the mare 2kgs over its allotted weight at the request of its trainer Ms S. Royes.
 
QUINSTEP GIRL – As no other rider was available jockey I. Fry was permitted to ride the mare 3.5kgs over its allotted weight at the request of its trainer Ms S. Royes.
 
The start was delayed significantly due to issues with the barrier gates.   
 
CAMILLATHECHICKEN (NZ)– Declared a late scratching at 2.43pm when refused to load. On the announcement of correct weight all monies invested on
CAMILLATHECHICKEN were ordered to be refunded with deductions of 42 cents in the dollar on the face value of win bets and 24 cents in the dollar on the face value of
all place bets to be applicable. Trainer D. Crouch was advised that he must obtain a further barrier certificate for the mare prior to the gelding trialling or racing again.

RAPID POWER – Slow to begin.  
 
THE QUICKENING – Slow to begin.  
 
RAFFY'S GIRL – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
Race 2: 1924 TO 2024 BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1180 Metres
 
MAJESTICS REQUEST – Tighten for room on jumping and lost ground.
 
DEVIL'S INN – Tightened for room on jumping.
 
TORNADO TORQUE – Slow to begin.
 
MISHANI MAVERICK – Shifted out at the start tightening runners to its outs outside. Shifted out under hard riding over the concluding stages.  

REVVED UP READY – Was checked leaving the 50 metres to avoid the heels of MISHANI MAVERICK which shifted out under pressure. Tightened for room after the winning post. App G. Semmens (MISHANI MAVERICK) in the company of senior rider N. Thomas pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the specifics of AR 131(a) in that leaving the 50 metres she permitted her mount to shift out under hard riding when not clear of REVVED UP READY which had to be checked and shift inwards. Ms Semmens licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 11 days to commence Saturday 14 December 2024 and expire midnight 25 December 2024. Stewards deemed this incident in the medium range and Ms Semmens was advised of her appeal rights.    
 
BORNEO – Shifted in approaching the winning post becoming awkwardly placed on heels and was checked.  
 
JUST FRANK – Raced wide without cover for majority of the race.
 
Race 3:HOME HILL HACK CLUB OPEN HANDICAP – 1000 Metres
 
STICK TO YOUR GUNS – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
WANNA TWEET – Raced wide with no cover in the early and middle stages.
 
AIDENABET – Had a tendency to lay in, in the home straight.  
 
LOVE ON DISPLAY – Was steadied near the 50 metres when anticipating a runner to the inside was shifting out.    
 
Race 4: CHEERS & BEERS TO 100 YEARS BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1000 Metres
 
HIT SNOOZE – Slow to begin.  
 
MR KOBO – Slow to begin.
 
TERMINUS – Raced three wide for the majority of the race.
 
MISSISSIPPI MORN – Raced four wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
Race 5: BURDEKIN RACE CLUB BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP – 1460 Metres
 
FEEASHIN MOON – Declared a late scratching at 12.15pm on veterinary advice after injuring its near hind leg during transit to the course. Trainer Ms S. Royes was advised she must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to FEASHIN MOON trialling or racing again.
 
GIGI FILLE – Disappointed for a run on straightening having to be checked and shift wider.
