Race 1: JONES EARTHMOVING QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres
 
D. McMaster was the rider of MAKE A MILLION.
 
E. Bell was the rider of MISTRESS OF MONEY.
 
MOUNTAIN BREEZE – Was a late scratching at 12:46pm as trainer R. Little was unwilling to race the gelding on the track surface.
 
I AM A LAD – Gates was slow to open causing the gelding to be slow away and then over raced in the early stages of the race.
 
TRUE TIME – Gates slow to open casing the gelding to be slow away.
 
ESCOVEDO – Raced greenly and did not handle the track condition.
 
Race 2: BENTLEYS QLD / RAYNERS CRANE HIRE RATINGS 0-55 HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
ALFIARTO – Was a late scratching at 10:39am.
 
E. Bell was the rider of KEEPCALMANDCARRYON.
 
KEEPCALMANDCARRYON – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
SPECK OF GOLD and GESUNDHEIT were both declared non-runners as their gates did not open and were not afforded a fair start. Deductions of 40 cents in the win bet were announced with correct weight.
Race 3: SUFFRON MOORE / CENTRAL WEST RURAL OPEN HANDICAP - 1000 metres  
 
D. McMaster was the rider of WICKED WOODY and J. Babarovich was the rider of RHYTHM NATION.
 
WICKED WOODY – Was slow to begin and slow into stride and travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the race.
 
GIRLS AWAY – Jumped inwards contacting another runner and travelled wide for much of the event.
 
ALPINE GOLD – Raced onto heels approaching the 400m and had to be eased on several occasions.
 
GO SAI – Jumped outwards contacting another runner.
 
MAKE AMENDS – Contacted heavily at the start when runners either side jumped awkwardly.
 
 
Race 4: GEORGE BOURNE & ASSOC / PROTYRES BM 45 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
COOL RAIN – Knuckled at the start.
 
OVERTON ONYX – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
FINNIGAN’S FOLLY – Slow into stride.
 
SPURSYN – Jumped away awkwardly as the gelding turned his head just as the start was effected, then ran onto heels and eased causing the gelding to be slow away.
 
BELWORTH – Jockey M. Abe was fined the sum of $200 under AR 137(5)(A)(ii) when the whip was used 10 times prior to the 100m.
 
 
Race 5: DONALDSON FAMILY WILLOWIE CUP BM 65 HANDICAP - 1400 metres      
 
D. McMaster was the rider of BASHAN and J. Lait was the rider of CRYSTAL MATES.
 
LEO’S SPIRIT – Slow to begin.
 
CHAMPAGNE TALES – Slow to begin and eased near the 650m when an outside runner shifted ground.
 
CRYSTAL MATES – Approaching the 650m was eased and lost ground when an outside runner shifted in momentarily tightening inside runners.
MONTIRO – Shifted on momentarily near the 650m tightening runners to the inside.
