Race 1: RAYNER’S CRANE AND PLANT HIRE QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres
 
DURANT – Eased leaving the 550m when an outside runner shifted ground.
 
ELEGANT MISS – Allowed her mount to shift ground when not sufficiently clear leaving the 550m. Apprentice B. Rooney was reminded of her obligation to keep her mount straight and sufficiently clear when shifting ground.
 
PROGIRL – Slow to begin and ducked in sharply at the top of the home straight and had to be corrected.
 
WONZERO – Jumped away awkwardly and hung in down the home straight.
 
GAP THE FIELD – Eased off heels shortly after the start when another runner shifted ground.
 
Race 2: BENTLEYS QLD / PRO TYRES BM 55 - 1000 metres 
 
RHYTHM NATION – Slow to begin and slow into stride then travelled wide in the later stages.
 
SINAMORE – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
Race 3: GEORGE BOURNE AND ASSOCIATES RATINGS BAND 0 – 45 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
MAKE A MILLION – Didn’t race competitively and jockey Richardson thought the gelding would benefit from the addition of a tongue tie.
 
MISTY MONTANA – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
 
Race 4: MOORE CIVIL AND PLANT HIRE CLASS 4 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
BOLD PEAK – Missed the start by several lengths as the gates were extremely slow to open then travelled wide for much of the race.
 
SPUR WITH EASE – Travelled wide for much of the event.
 
NICKLEBY – Slow to begin as the gates were slow to open.
 
MOQWAO – Slow into stride and travelled wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 5: DONALDSON FAMILY DOLLYS DREAM WILLOWIE CUP / RACE TO ROMA QUAL. OPEN HANDICAP - 1400 metres      
 
DUTCH COURAGE – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the race.
 
TUXEDO BOY – Slow to begin as the gates were slow to open.
 
GREEN LIGHT – Jockey L. Dillon weighed in overweight and was fined the sum of $100 under AR145. Stewards took into consideration the warmer conditions when issuing the penalty.
