RACE 1: ELDERS/HALL CHADICK/RABOBANK QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000m
 
GAL SHADOW – Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
LETITRIPPOTATOCHIP – Slow to begin.
 
BURNING ENIGMA – Began awkwardly.
 
DRUMMLE – Raced wide throughout the early and middle stages.
 
RACE 2: NAB AG./INJUNE MITRE 10/INJUNE C'VAN PARK/SENEX ENERGY BM 55 HCP – 1000m
 
VANCOUVER STAR – Shifted out to obtain clear running at the 150m.
 
D’LAST ZA – Slow to begin. Shifted out bumping another runner shortly after the start.
 
GOLFING – Slow to begin. Tightened for room from runners either side shortly after the start. Raced four wide without cover during the early and middle stages.
 
POLAR BLITZ – Slow to begin. Shifted in bumping another runner shortly after the start. Raced three wide without cover in the early stages.
 
RACE 3: LANDMARK/ZOETIS PESTIGUARD CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200m
 
The start of race three was amended to 2:20pm.
 
CHIPOTLE – Began awkwardly forcing a runner to outside wider on the track. Upon returning to scale Jockey R. Achini reported that the gelding was inclined to hang out and raced ungenerously from the 800 until the 600m.
 
TIME FOR LILLI – Forced out making contact with another runner to the outside upon jumping.
 
PART THE SEA – Bumped on jumping. Raced three wide throughout.
 
RED GERANIUM – Raced four wide without cover during the early and middle stages.
 
DIVA MISS – Raced three wide without cover in the early stages.
 
KAPACHINO MISS – Declared a late scratching at 9:18am on veterinary advice. Trainer W. Morriss was advised the mare would require a vet certificate prior to returning to race.
 

RACE 4: IOR PETROLEUM/MOUNTS MACHINERY/INJUNE HOTEL RATINGS BAND 0-60 HCP – 1400m
 
The start of race three was amended to 3:20pm.
 
PARANA – Slow to begin
 
GRAVITY FORCE – Stood flat footed upon jumping. Trainer E. Brassington was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding.
 
CANTON ROAD – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
 
RACE 5: 2018 SANTOS INJUNE CUP OPEN HANDICAP – 1400m
 
CRAWFISH – Shifted out to obtain clear running rounding the home turn.
 
SAN VINCENZO – When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, Jockey C. Bryen reported that after setting the early pace and obtaining a lead position throughout the early and middle stages the gelding failed to respond to hard riding from the 600m and as a result weakened throughout the remainder of the event. Stewards noted Jockey Bryen’s explanation.  
 
MORE OF THE ZAIM –Began awkwardly. Upon returning to scale Apprentice  B. Rooney reported that the gelding proved difficult to handle throughout and as a result settled further forward in the event than anticipated. Trainer S. Mcewan could offer no explanation for the horses disappointing performance.
