THE FLASH ONE – Was inspected post-race by the Veterinarian and found to be displaying signs of lameness in the off foreleg. Trainer Mr. T Butts was advised a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to the gelding being again permitted to start in a race. Race 2: PEASE PARK MANAGEMENT MAIDEN PLATE 1200m TEXAS GAL – Shifted out abruptly on jumping hampering another runner. PLATINUM PULSE – Lost ground soon after jumping when hampered by another runner. Had to be restrained on several occasions in the middle stages when racing in restricted room. ALPHORN – Lost ground after being buffeted between runners soon after jumping. MBWALI – Shifted in on jumping and bumped with another runner. MADEMOISELLE POLLY – Raced greenly in the early and middle stages. Race 3: KZ7 TRAINING CLASS B HANDICAP 1200m SUPAMETEOR – Slowly away. RATHDOWNEY AVENUE – Slowly into stride. Raced wide in the middle stages. SNOOZE YA LOSE – Shifted out under pressure near the 350m and again near the 100m hampering runners to its outside. Jockey K Stone was reprimanded for careless riding under the provisions of AR137(a). RANGERZANE – Was hampered near the 350m and again near the 100m by another runner which was shifting ground under pressure. UNCHARTERED – Was hampered near the 350m. Raced wide for the majority. Stewards delayed the announcement of Correct Weight after being advised by the Judge of a Photo Finish malfunction necessitating verification of placings by way of lateral Stewards patrol footage. Race 4: CREATIVE EVENTS CLASS 6 PLATE 1200m ABITAZAR – Raced keenly in the early stages. SUPER SHOES – Shifted out under pressure down the running. Race 5: MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ITC BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1500m POET’S MOMENT – Difficult to load delaying the start. Trainer Mr. A Williams was advised the mare would require one (1) further Barrier Certificate prior to being again permitted to start in a race. BACKTOSPEC – Over-raced for some distance after being restrained when racing in restricted room passing the 1300m. OUR SINGLE DOUBT – Slowly into stride. Raced wide from the 600m.
