Other Comments / Explanations:

Race 1 – Jill’s Stationary | Open Handicap | 1000m
The declaration of correct weight was delayed when the rider of the second placegetter App. R.Shred, (Bon Temps) requested to review the footage to determine if she had grounds to lodge an objection against Lilly Kareena being declared the winner alleging interference near the 600m. After viewing of the official race footage, she declined to proceed and correct weight was declared on the judge’s semaphored numbers.
Cohesion – Slow to begin.
Island Bar – Slow to begin.
Lilly Kareena – Laid out approaching the 600m.
Bon Temps – Blundered approaching the 600m.
Race 2 – Johnson Ag Machinery | Maiden Plate | 1100m
Adoree – Delayed the start when declared a late scratching by order of Stewards at 1.57pm after dislodging its rider and galloping some distance. On the announcement of correct weight stewards ordered that all monies invested on Adoree be refunded, with the following deductions of 23 cents in the dollar of the face value of all win and place bets to be applicable. Rider N.Nelson declared herself free of injury and was able to fulfil all further engagements. Trainer R.Nelson was advised the filly must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards before being permitted to race again.
Queen Khaleesi – Delayed the start further when rider R. Shred felt the mare was awkward in its action. After being examined by the veterinary surgeon, the horse was cleared to race.
De Lady Deluxe – Was tightened for room shortly after the start and steadied. Had a tendency to lay out in the middle stages.
Little Boomer – Shifted out shortly after the start bumping another runner and becoming unbalanced.
Muzanboal Rouge – Raced wide in the early stages.
Race 3 – Telesat Services | Class B Handicap | 1200m
Kensington Star – Began awkwardly.
Lilly’s Prince – The saddle slipped back shortly after the start placing rider S.Wilson at a disadvantage.
Strada Grande – Commenced to lay out leaving the 500m forcing another runner wider, and then continued to lay out in the home straight shifting wider on the track. W.D’Avila was reminded of his obligation of his use of the whip prior to the 100m. Connections were advised a warning would be placed on the mares racing manners.
Maroon Creek – When questioned into the gelding’s disappointing performance rider C. Jokic stated that the gelding travelled well in the early stages after finding a nice position one off the fence behind the leaders. However, after being forced wider by another runner that hung out leaving the 500m, and being bumped near the 400m, the horse appeared to lose interest and failed to respond to her riding and was disappointing. Trainer S.Massingham, was at a loss to explain the gelding’s performance today and will advise Stewards of anything that may come to his attention in the following days. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Race 4 – Cropwatch Innisfail | Ratings Band 0-65 Handicap | 1200m
