Supplementary Report
Townsville 21/05/2020 Race 3 ratings Band 0-58 H’Cap  1200m
Stewards today inquired into the reason apprentice R. Shred was dislodged near the 1000m. After hearing evidence from apprentice R. Shred (KEIGHLEY SUN) in the company of her master Ms J. Ryan and stable foreman Mr R. Ryan, apprentice K. Swaffer (FOXY FELINE) in the company of her master Mr T. Rowe and jockey W. D’Avila (PURPLE GREY) and viewing of the race-day film it was established the approaching the 1000m FOXY FELINE laid in despite the efforts of rider K. Swaffer brushing KEIGHLEY SUN which momentarily raced ungenerously and shifted in bumping PURPLE GREY on the hind quarters causing that runner to become unbalanced and shift out tightening the running of KEIGHLEY SUN which blundered, dislodging rider R. Shred. As Stewards could attribute no blame to any one rider no further action was warranted and the inquiry was finalised.
