SUPPLEMENTRY REPORT:
Saturday 20 May 20223 Mareeba
 
Race 2 – AIR FORCE ACE trainer G. Tsakissiris subsequently advised the gelding was examined on returning to stables and was found to be suffering stomach ulcers for which it is being treated. Mr Tsakissiris was advised he must provide a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to it being permitted to raced again.
 
Race 5 – Belle Adelle – Trainer R. Baker advised the mare had pulled up well with no abnormalities.    
 
General:
 
As the following runners had not raced for an extended period, they all underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and were cleared to start.

Race 1, Himself, Wishnowsky
Race 2, Bean Warrior
Race 3, Bellevita, Roth’n’Bell
 
Race 1: JILL'S STATIONERY QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 900 Metres
 
MOON MISSILE – Shifted out soon after the start crowding runners to its outside.Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
ST ROSE – Tightened for room soon after start and lost ground.
 
FIGHTING GRISBI – Tightened for room soon after the start, forced outwards becoming unbalanced and shifted back in further tightening ST ROSE and lost  ground as a result.  
 
OLDTIMEROCK'N'ROLL – Tightened for room soon after the start, forced outwards and lost ground.  
 
HIMSELF – Bumped heavily soon after the start and became unbalanced.
 
HERO'S CHOICE – Shifted out under pressure approaching the 100 metres before being corrected leaving the 100 metres.
 
Race 2: GARRADUNGA HOTEL QTIS CLASS 1 HANDICAP – 900 Metres
 
CARESSING RUPERT – Slow to begin.
 
SERENATA – Slow to begin.
 
NUCLEAR GIRL – Began awkwardly. Shifted out near the 200 metres and again near the 150 metres hampering DELUSIONAL which in turn shifted
out inconveniencing QUATUM. Rider M. Abe (NUCLEAR GIRL) was severely reprimanded and advised to show greater care in similar
circumstances.  
 
DELUSIONAL – Laid near the 200 metres and again near the 150 metres when being bumped by NUCLEAR GIRL which shifted out. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
QUATUM – Inconvenienced near the 200 metres and again near the 150 metres having to be restrained. Raced wide for the majority of the race.  
 
BEAN WARRIOR – Raced wide for the majority of the race.

Race 3: INNISFAIL FAMILY LAW BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP – 900 Metres
 
SOLOMON – Began awkwardly and bumped heavily with SARANDOS which shifted out at start and as result lost ground.
 
SARANDOS – Began awkwardly and shifted out bumping heavily with SOLOMON.
 
MACEDON FLYER – Raced wide for the majority of the race.

RACATOON – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Correct weight was delayed to allow M. Buttler (SOLOMON) which finished third to view the stewards footage to ascertain if he had grounds to lodge an objection against SARANDOS (M. Abe) being declared second. After looking at the available footage he did not wish to proceed and correct weight was declared on the judges semaphored numbers.  
 
Race 4: MICALE CABINETS CLASS B HANDICAP – 1200 Metres
 
SHEEZ BEAN TALKIN' – Bounded in the air on jumping and lost ground. Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
ALEXANDRA MARGARET – Began awkwardly.
 
ROTHGURL – Slow to begin. Momentarily hampered near the 1000 metres. Shifted wider leaving the 600 metres.
 
LE BERNADIN – Shifted in near the 1000 metres momentarily hampering ROTHGURL. Rider F. Edwards was advised to show greater care when shifting ground.
 
Race 5: BACKPACKER SHACK BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP – 1200 Metres
 
EVIL EYE MAC – Was declared a late scratching at 10.20am by order of stewards acting on veterinary advise when found to be lame in its near-front leg. Trainer N. Homann was advised she must provide a veterinary certificate of soundness prior to the gelding being permitted to race or trial again.
 
FOCUS – Slow to begin.
 
FEMALE OFFICER – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
VANDANGLE – Bumped near the 1100 metres.  
 
AVATEA – Laid in near the 1100 metres making heavy contact with VANDANGLE and became unbalanced.Raced wide for the majority of the race.

HOKOLESQUA – Tendency to lay out under pressure in the home straight proving difficult to ride.
 
ROUGH CUT JEWEL – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
YARRALINDA – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
Race 6: SEE YOU AT THE GARRA BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP – 1500 Metres
 
LINE OF KINGS – Slow to begin.

BORLOTTI BEANS – Slow to begin.
 
GINASUE – Slow to begin. Raced wide leaving the 800 metres.  
 
SWANKY SUE – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start.Slow to begin.

TICTOC TICTOC – Raced wide leaving the 500 metres.
