Race 1: Hutchinson Builders Class 2 H'cap - 800m
 
DUBLE MEANING Slow to begin.
 
HOOKED A BEAUTY Slightly hampered when VOL VALLEE shifted in passing the 700m.
 
DONNT PLAY AROUND
Had a tendency to lay out rounding the home turn and in the home straight.
 
VOL VALLEE Apprentice T. Brooker lost her whip approaching the winning post.
 
WONDER BOOM Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
 
Race 2: MIHI Tavern Brassal Class 3 H'capp - 1200mm
 
The start of this race was delayed whenn DANE JESTER had to be resaddledd behind the barriers.
 
BIG DOLLARS Slow to begin.
 
BALKAN BAMBINO Slow to begin.
 
COLLINS CREEK Raced 3 wide in the early stages before improving forward to obtain the lead passing the 700m. Bumped on a number of occasions over the final 50m.
 
DANE JESTER Had to be steadied away from heels approaching the 800m when the gelding commenced to overrace.
 
ADERITO Over the final 50m had a tendency to lay in under pressure and bumped COLLINS CREEK on a number of occasions.

Race 3: B.L. Wholesale Cars Pty Ltd F&M Maiden HHcap 1100mm
 
ALASKAN GOLD Prior to entering the barriers, the veterinary surgeon noticed blood in the horsees mouth.. After being examined by the veterinary surgeon was cleared to start.. After entering the barriers became fractious and dislodged jockey W. DDAvila..  The mare was removed from the barriers, examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start.. Jockey W. DDAvila was examined by the ambulance officers and cleared to fulfil his engagement.
 
Approaching the home turn was held up momentarily before shifting out, forcing SWEET CAVIAR wider on the track. Raced greenly in the home straight and had a tendency to lay in under pressure. Had to be steadied when bumped by EXCRUCIATE, which shifted inn near the 150m. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.
 
HARLIN ROSE Bumped on jumping away. Had to be steadied passing the 700m from the heels of SWEET CAVIAR, which shifted out.
 
POWER OF DIVAS Bumped on jumping away.
 
SWEET CAVIAR Commenced to overrace when the pace slackened passing the 700m, and in doing so had to be steadied away from the heels of EXCRUCIATE. Forced wider on the home turn. Raced greenly over the concluding stages.
 
EXCRUCIATE Held up momentarily approaching the home turnn before shifting out, forcing SWEET CAVIAR and DIVINE ACTIONN wider on the track. Commenced to lay in under riding in the home straight, placing its rider in some difficulty in riding his mount out.
 
FATZ Unable to secure clear running from the 100m and until approaching the winning post.
 
DIVINE ACTION Raced wide throughout. Forced wider approaching the home turn by another runner.
 
STUNNING SHOW A post race veterinary examination revealed a respiratory infection.
 
 
 
 
Race 4: Ipswich City Council CG&E Maiden HHcap 1100mm
 
LUCKY JAI JAI Declared a late scratching at 2.44 pm after rearing up in the barriers, dislodging jockey L. Rolls.. Jockey Rolls was examined by the ambulance officers and was stood down from his engagement on the horse.. Subsequent to the event, all monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable.

7 cents in the dollar on the face value off 2nd place bets
8 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets
 
Trainer M. Eggleston was advised that the horse must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start.
 
MELD LIKE MICHAEL
Slow to begin. For a short distancee after the start commenced to buck and was tailed off.. Trainer M. Eggleston was advisedd that the gelding must trial satisfactorily prior to racing again.
 
A LITTLE WICKED Began awkwardly.
 
MAXWELL Hampered on jumping away between runners. Raced 3 wide throughout without cover.
 
HENRYYS AFFAIR Had to be steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of another runner near the 100m.
 
FLIM FLAM MAN Raced greenly in the home straight.
 
 
Race 5: Jon Kent Lawyers QTIS 3yo Maiden HHcap 1200mm
 
BIMINI ROAD Declared a late scratching at 3.22 pm on veterinary advicee when it became cast in the barriers. Subsequent to the event all monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable.

Trainer R. Heathcote was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse regarding its barrier manners.
 
NATURAL FORCE Slow too begin..  Passing the 800m commenced to overrace and had to be checked away from heels.. Shortly after when unable to be steadiedd shifted wider on the track to obtain clear running.
 
EUCHARIST Bumped on jumping away.
 
VOODOO MANGO MAGIC
Passing the 700m was forced wider by another runner near thee and raced wide without cover for the remainder of the race.
 
DREAM DANZA Approaching the 800m when the pace slackened commenced to overrace and shifted wider on the track.
 
SHESEES EVERYTHING -- Commenced to overrace passing the 800m.
 
SHANGHAI BULLET Overraced passing the 800m and improved to the inside of SHESEES EVERYTHINGG when the pace slackenedd and had to be checked away from that horsees heels.
 
CATALINA MISS Passing the 200m was bumped by SHESEES EVERYTHING, which was attempting to obtain clear running.
 
 
Race 6: Riverlink Shopping Centre Benchmark 60 HHcap 1700mm
 
PROUDER Became fractious in the gates and reared up prior to the start being effected.
 
WHYNOTROC Slow to begin.
 
ENDLESS DON Overraced in the early and middle stages.
 
DAGGA BOY Overraced in the early stages and had to be restrained off heels on a number of occasions.
 
IDLE SITUATION Raced 3 wide in the early and middle stages before obtaining cover passing the 900m. Raced in restricted room and had to be steadied approaching the winning post.
 
LEDOYEN Held up rounding the home turn.
 
WHYNOTROC Approaching the 100m improved on to the heels and was unable to be fully tested over the concluding stages.
 
 
Race 7: Providence South Ripley Class 1 HHcap 1350mm
 
ALTOVISE -- Following the incident in Race 4, L. Rolls was examined by the ambulance officers and cleared to fulfil this engagement.
 
ARAKAIN Slow to begin.
 
AMARYLISS Raced 3 wide without cover.
 
ERCOLANO On return to scale jockey R. Fradd reported that the horse raced fresh today and overraced a touch in the early stages, and then failed to finish the race off..  The stable representativee for trainer Mr T. Gollan advised that the gelding would be better suitedd as it gets further into its preparation over distances further than todayys event, and may appreciate a softer track and would improved with todayys run. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
 
TALKING JET Hampered and had to be checked when tightened for racing room when GREAT GRATS shifted in slightly approaching the 100m, and then went to the line without being tested.
