Race 1: FOLLOW @IPSWICHTURFCLUB MAIDEN HANDICAP (2210m)
 
SPACE JOURNEY – Bumped by LA VITTORIA rounding the home turn.
 
CASSIE'S GIRL – Slow to begin. From the wide barrier shifted behind runners to obtain a position closer to the rail. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
ANOTHER DAZZLER – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after having raced at Toowoomba on Saturday, 21 October 2023 and was passed fit to start. Approaching the 200m, momentarily held up on heels and obliged to shift wider to obtain clear running.
 
LA VITTORIA – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after having raced at Toowoomba on Saturday, 21 October 2023 and was passed fit to start. Raced keenly in the middle stages when the pace was slackened. Rounding the home turn, laid in and bumped with SPACE JOURNEY. Approaching the 200m, bumped and momentarily hampered when ANOTHER DAZZLER shifted out to improve.
 
LICENCE TO THRILL – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after having raced at Toowoomba on Saturday, 21 October 2023 and was passed fit to start. Over raced in the early and middle stages. Laid out rounding the home turn. Approaching the 200m, bumped by LA VITTORIA which taken wider when ANOTHER DAZZLER shifted out to improve. Inside the 100m, when commencing to weaken, became momentarily awkwardly placed at the heels of LA VITTORIA.
 
LOVE LOCH – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after having raced at the Gold Coast on Saturday, 21 October 2023 and was passed fit to start.
 
ROYAL GEORGE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after having raced at Toowoomba on Saturday, 21 October 2023 and was passed fit to start. Bounded on jumping. Raced wide and without cover from the 1000m. When questioned regarding her decision to obtain a three-wide position inside the 1000m, Apprentice M. Castle stated that she had anticipated improving as the gelding in her opinion is one-paced, however when jockey S. Collett (RED VEGAS) attempted the same forward manoeuvre, she was forced wider and elected to stay in that three-wide position rather than restrain. Apprentice Castle further added that she was not disappointed in the performance, adding that the gelding finished the event well considering it may not have handled the 5-day backup and being disadvantaged by the slow tempo of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be exhibiting clinical signs of the thumps.
 
TROUBLESHOOT (NZ) – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after having raced at the Gold Coast on Saturday, 21 October 2023 and was passed fit to start. Slow into stride. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
 
Race 2: THISISACONVERSATIONSTARTER QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN HANDICAP (800m)
 
BAD FOREST – Raced greenly throughout. Shifted in rounding the home turn. Shifted in abruptly approaching the 200m, obliging its rider to stop riding and straighten. Over the concluding stages, momentarily tightened to the inside of MIEUX which shifted in.
 
ATHEISM – Carried wider inside the 200m, when WITHEREN LASS was racing greenly.
 
COLTMAN – Began awkwardly and then shifted behind runners in the early stages. Rounding the home turn, momentarily steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of BAD FOREST which shifted in.
 
CHAKRA BOY – Connections advised that it would be the intention for the gelding to be ridden further forward if circumstances permit. Began well and led. Laid out rounding the home-turn. Laid out under pressure over the concluding stages.
 
LOOK IT'S LUCY – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have a slow post-race recovery.
 
PATRICIA'S QUILL – From the wide barrier shifted behind runners in the early stages. Raced greenly throughout the event.
 
TWILIGHT SPARKLE – Approaching the 600m, became momentarily awkwardly placed on the heels of HERMANITA which shifted in.
 
WITHEREN LASS – Entering the home straight, became momentarily awkwardly placed on the heels MIEUX. Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
HERMANITA – Approaching the 600m, shifted in momentarily, inconveniencing TWILIGHT SPARKLE.
 
 
Race 3: BASE METAL FABRICATION CLASS 4 HANDICAP (800m)

Declaration of correct weight was delayed allowing Jockey J. Stanley, the rider of the 2nd placed MATILLY to view the official photo finish image. When Jockey Stanley was satisfied that a margin was present, correct weight was declared on the Judges’ semaphored numbers.
 
PRINCESS LUNAR – Began awkwardly. Entering the home straight, had difficulty obtaining clear running and raced in restricted room until inside the 100m.
 
MATILLY – Jockey J. Stanley reported his mount was inclined to lay-out throughout the event.
 
MR GALAZI – Laid out under pressure over the concluding stages. Blundered badly over the crossing following the event and became badly unbalanced for several strides. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.  
 
SEQUESAY – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after contacting the running rail leaving the enclosure and was cleared to start. Began only fairly. Passing the 600m, obliged to check when PIANIST shifted in abruptly and away from BONGANI and in doing so, bumped the running rail on a number of occasions.
 
PIANIST – Began awkwardly and lost ground before being hampered between runners. Passing the 600m when over-racing, shifted in abruptly, inconveniencing SEQUESAY.
 
 
Race 4: GREAT NORTHERN CLASS 6 HANDICAP (1100m)
 
DR WHY NOT – Began awkwardly and then from the wide barrier shifted behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 800m, momentarily steadied when PACIFIC PADRINO shifted in.
 
EASY SINGLE – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.
 
NEVER PAID – Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
 
HARDWARE LANE – Began awkwardly.
 
KIRRA LASS – Acting on a report from the clerk of scales, Apprentice J. Williams was fined $400 pursuant to AR185 for changing his boots after weighing out. Prior to the start being effected, broke through the barriers before being restrained after a short distance. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Began awkwardly.
 
PACIFIC PADRINO – Approaching the 800m, shifted in, momentarily inconveniencing DR WHY NOT which was obliged to steady. Jockey B. Thompson was advised to exercise greater care.
 
BARISTASISTA – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
Following the running of race 4, the track was upgraded to a Good 3.
 

Race 5: SCHWEPPES MAIDEN PLATE (1200m)
 
The start of the race was delayed when PROUD MISS got its head down in the barriers and the bridal became displaced. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Trainer D. Vandyke was advised that a warning would be placed on the filly’s barrier manners.
 
CANYONS – Bounded on jumping. Shortly after the start was bumped on the hind quarters by TRAPEZE FLYER. Entering the home straight, became awkwardly placed on the heels of OUR DRUMMER which shifted out. Jockey B. Thornton dropped his whip near the 200m. Following the race, CANYONS became fractious in the tie-ups and sustained a significant laceration to its head. Trainer K. Baumann was advised that the gelding would require a veterinary clearance prior to next racing.
 
OUR DRUMMER – Laid out rounding the home turn.
 
ISA TINKEN – Cast its near-fore plate on jumping.
 
STORM DREAMER – Raced wide and without cover throughout the event. Approaching the 200m, taken marginally wider when BREMERHAVEN shifted out to obtain clear running.
 
TRAPEZE FLYER – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Shortly after the start, bumped with CANYONS and became unbalanced.
 
BREMERHAVEN – Approaching the 200m, obliged to shift out and around the heels of CANYONS to obtain clear running. Laid out under pressure in the home straight.
 
 
Race 6: SIRROMET BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP         (1710m)
 
PORKY – Began awkwardly. Over the concluding stages, laid in making contact with the running rail before when attempting to correct, bumped heavily with NAUGHTY HARRY when placed in restricted room and became unbalanced.
 
RONLEE GAL – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
BAY STREET – Hampered on jumping.
 
HAPPISBURGH – Began awkwardly. Approaching the 400m, momentarily held up at the heels of HOT BANANAS.
 
DAEDALUS – Slow to begin.
 
DRAKE PASSAGE (NZ) – Began awkwardly and shifted in.
 
NAUGHTY HARRY (NZ) – Approaching the 100m, held up at the heels of PORKY for a number of strides before shifting out to improve. At the winning post, bumped heavily with PORKY and became unbalanced.
 
 
Race 7: TAB BENCHMARK 62 HANDICAP (1350m)
 
MAGNITUDO – When questioned regarding his riding of the gelding, apprentice J. Franklin stated that although his intention was to lead, however when the gelding commenced to over-race in the early stages and proved reluctant to be restrained, it subsequently established a margin on the remainder of the field and set a faster tempo than he had intended.
 
HARRYANDTHETIGER – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered bilateral epistaxis for the first occasion. Trainer M. Callaghan was advised that the gelding would now incur a 3 month ban from racing and would be required to gallop 1000m in the presence of a Steward prior to resuming, pursuant to AR79(4). Trainer M. Callaghan however did advise Stewards that it is now his intention to retire the gelding.
 
LESMURDIE – From the wide barrier shifted behind runners at the start.
 
TEXAS STORM – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
ALL THE SHOPS – Began awkwardly. Laid out rounding the home-turn.
 
DU MAURIER – Tailed the field throughout in the early stages. Eased down from 800m. Jockey T. Marshall advised that the mare felt awkward in its action and for that reason he did not elect to pressure his mount from the 800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed general muscle soreness. Trainer Page did advise Stewards that it is now her intention to retire the mare, however trainer H. Page was advised that the mare would be required to officially trial should it continue its racing preparation.
 
SPILL THE SECRET – Began awkwardly.
 
 
Race 8: TIACS RACES 3 NOVEMBER RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 HANDICAP (1350m)
 
BRAZEN IMPACT – Laid out rounding the home turn. Bumped over the concluding stages with ART HEIST. When questioned regarding the performance, Jockey J. Bayliss advised that the gelding failed to travel throughout the event and may not have handled the firmer track conditions.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.  
 
CHARGED – Began awkwardly.
 
STEAL THE FIELD – After becoming fractious during transport to the track, was declared a late scratching acting on veterinary advice at 4:40pm. Trainer M. Morrison was advised that the mare would require a veterinary certificate prior to next racing.
 
DREAM ENTITY – Raced wide and without cover for majority of the event.
 
SPIRIT OF GIVING – Held-up rounding the home turn until leaving the 200m after shifting out to obtain clear running.
 
SOCK'EMSID – Raced wide and without cover for majority of the event.
 
MIGHTY GANGES (NZ) – Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have suffered bilateral epistaxis for the first-time. Trainer T. Butt was advised that the gelding would now incur a 3 month ban from racing pursuant to AR79(4) and would be required to gallop 1000m in the presence of a Steward prior to racing again,
 
ART HEIST – Held up rounding the home turn until a point leaving the 200m. Over the concluding stages, raced in restricted room and was bumped between BRAZEN IMPACT and DREAM ENTITY. Jockey M. Harley was reminded of his obligations to ride his mount out fully to the line under AR131(b)
