Race 1- GREAT NORTHERN CLASS B HANDICAP  1350m
 
TALLYMAN –Slowly into stride.
 
HEREBANEEK – Raced wide rounding the 800m turn. 
 
SCOTTABEE – Raced wide for the majority. 
 
THE BIG SHIELA – Raced below market expectations.  When questioned Jockey T Brummell  advised that after leading early the mare in his opinion had failed to handle a softer section of the track near the 900m losing some momentum. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.    
 
Race 2 – BOOTH RURAL BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1350m
 
SENSEOFWONDER (NZ) – Raced disappointingly. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any irregularities.
 
Race 3 –  JOHNSON’S GRADER HIRE BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP 1100m 
 
CRYSTAL BEAR - On jumping shifted in hampering another runner.  Near the 800m commenced to hang in and hampered another runner, despite the efforts of Jockey D Ballard.
 
STRADIFY – Hampered by another runner on jumping.
 
MOVING TARGET – Rounding the 800m turn was hampered and lost ground as the result of another runner hanging in. 
 
DUTCH TWIST – Raced wide for the majority. 
 
ENCORONADA - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 4 – JULIA CREEK HOTEL/ TOP PUB BENCHMARK 69 HANDICAP 1100m
 
BOWIE ROCKS – Having first start since a lengthy spell, underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to race. 
 
CHARLIE GARCON – Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any irregularities.
 
Race 5 – MCKINLAY SHIRE COUNCIL ARTESIAN EXPRESS CLASS 2 HANDICAP  
1200m
 
BROOKLANDS - Having first start since spell, underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to race. Raced wide rounding the 800m turn. 
 
GREY FACTOR – Slowly away losing considerable ground. Jockey R McMahon advised that the filly resented the kickback in running and took no competitive part in the race. Was having first start on a dirt surface. Trainer was advised that a warning would be placed on the filly’s competitiveness.
 
SCRIPTS - Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
ECHELON ROSE - Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
FIRE RANGER – Jockey J Hoopert advised his saddle had shifted soon after the start causing him inconvenience. Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
LEICA CELEBRE - Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Race 6 – S.N.GARRERT CONSTRUCTIONS/AUZSCOT CONSTRUCTIONS QTIS MAIDEN 1200m
 
TOY – Slowly away.
 
VIOLET JANE – Raced wide rounding the 800m turn.
 
EXPERIENCED – Raced wide for the majority.
