Race 1: SOUTH 32 BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP (1) 1100m
 
BOSS’S DAUGHTER – Late withdrawal by order of Stewards at 1.05pm after becoming fractious in the mounting enclosure and dislodging Jockey J Babarovich on 2 occasions. Jockey Babarovich, who sustained a minor injury to his right leg in the incident subsequently declared himself fit to fulfil his remaining engagements. Prior to the declaration of Correct Weight Stewards ordered that all monies wagered on BOSS’S DAUGHTER be refunded in full and further that all successful wagers placed on the event prior to the time of scratching be subject to deductions of 7 cents in the dollar win and 8 cents in the dollar place on the face value of the betting ticket. Trainer K Krogh was advised the mare is required to trial satisfactorily prior to next race start.
 
FIRE RANGER – Slowly into stride. Raced wide for the majority.
 
BACCHUR - Shifted in marginally rounding the 800m turn inconveniencing a runner to its inside. Jockey T Hill was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
 
ARFA CROWN – Was inconvenienced rounding the 800m turn when a runner to its outside shifted in marginally. Jockey K Ballard reported the gelding had raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages.
 
MOODY MISS - Raced wide for the majority.
 
FLOSSY TOP – Raced wide for the majority.
 
MOVING TARGET – Raced wide for the majority.
 
FANDRAL - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 2: COLEMANS STOCKFEED BENCHMARK 45 HANDICAP (2) 1100m
 
REASON FOR TREASON – The mare, which was resuming following a lengthy spell, underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. As no other rider was available Stewards permitted Jockey R McMahon to ride the mare 3.5kg over the allotted weight. Raced wide for the majority.
 
DRAGON IN THE NORTH – Slowly away after beginning awkwardly. Raced ungenerously in the early stages before making up some ground late. Trainer T Parry who advised she intends to experiment with gear, was nonetheless advised the mare is required to trial satisfactorily prior to next race start.
 
MISS POWDER KEG (NZ) – Was buffeted between runners soon after jumping. Blundered when in clear running near the 850m. 
 
BANJA LUKA – A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off foreleg. Trainer T Parry was advised a Veterinary clearance is required prior to next race start.
 
Race 3: MCKINLAY SHIRE COUNCIL BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1100m
 
RAIN ON ME – Fractious in the barrier. Raced wide for the majority.
 
STATIC LIFT – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
 
HOLOGRAM - Bumped with another runner on jumping.
 
DUKES COUNTY – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
 
LORD WINDEMERE - Raced wide for the majority.

ALMIGHTY GOLD (NZ) - Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 4: BUS QUEENSLAND QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
 
SHE’S WINNIE BLUE – Began very awkwardly.
 
LOVE’S BEST HOPE – Shifted out on jumping.
 
RUM READY – Laid in rounding the 800m crowding a runner to its inside. Commenced to lose ground near the 500m finishing tailed off. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer T Parry was advised the mare is required to trial satisfactorily prior to next race start.
 
DEVIL’S NUMBER – Near the 800m had to be restrained off heels when placed in restricted room. Raced wide for the majority.
 
DOLLADREAM - Raced wide for the majority.
 
LEGATO FEELING – Lost ground when tightened between runners on jumping. Trailed the field throughout finishing tailed off. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to be mildly lame in both forelegs. Trainer T Parry was advised a Veterinary clearance is required prior to next race start.
 
WHITS END – Shifted in on jumping, continuing on an inward path inconveniencing a runner to its inside. Jockey N Nelson was severely reprimanded for careless riding under the provisions of AR131(a). Jockey Nelson reported that the gelding had hung out for a short distance near the 800m.
 
Race 5: MARWILL OPEN HANDICAP 1200m
 
SPANISH HURRICANE - The gelding, which was resuming following a lengthy spell, underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.
 
HUTCHO – Slowly away.
 
WORLD OF PAIN – Slowly away. Raced wide for the majority. Raced below market expectations. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer T Parry undertook to notify Stewards should anything which may have contributed to today’s performance become apparent in coming days.
 
SNIPPY STRATEGIC – Raced wide for the majority.
 
Race 6: MULTICOM RESOURCES – ARTESIAN EXPRESS CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1200m
 
MYOLA MILLY – Slowly away after beginning awkwardly. Unable to muster pace in the early stages. Raced wide for the majority. Made up some ground over the concluding stages.
 
CLARION – Slowly away. Raced wide for the majority.
 
MACKELLAR’S VOICE – Inclined to lay in in the early stages.
 
COME ALIVE – Tired over the concluding stages.
 
MORE THAN A FORTUNE - Raced wide for the majority.
 
ARCING HARD – Raced wide for the majority.
