Jockey J Felix reported the gelding which was having its first start on dirt track was reluctant to stretch out in running due to the kickback. A post -race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.THE KELLY GANG – Laid out through out. Raced wide majority.LATERALLY – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off foreleg. Race 2 : CRAWFORD COLOURS QTIS BENCHMARK 55 Handicap (1100m)SNEAKY TRUTHS – Inclined to lay out in the early stages.ANOTHER TOSSER – Laid out rounding 800m corner inconveniencing runners to its outside.DANSK HAVN – Momentarily tightened for room rounding 800m corner and forced wider when a runner to its inside shifted out.GOSSIPING GIRL – Was bumped by another runner at the 800m which shifted out.A MILLION DREAMS – Bumped by another runner soon after the start which shifted in. Raced wide majority.THE DELINQUENT – Shifted in soon after start bumping another runner. Raced wide majority. Race 3: SN GABBERT CONSTRUCTIONS OPEN Handicap (1100m)MR TINDALL – Raced wide rounding home turn. Post -race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from both nostrils during the race. As this was the first time the horse had suffered such an attack and acting under the provisions of AR79(4)(b), Trainer J Bawden was advised that the gelding would incur the mandatory ban from racing for a period of 3 months and then must pass a 1000m gallop to the satisfaction of stewards before being permitted to race again.POSITIVE TENSION – Raced wide early and middle stages .
