Scratching’s -: The following horses were withdrawn at 11.15 a.m. due to no available riders.
 
Race 1 New Arrival , Lets’ Go Then
Race 2 Welloutreach (No available rider at the weight)

Race 5 All That Bling (No available rider at the weight)
 
At 7.50 a.m. Apprentice S McCann  advised that she was indisposed due to a medical issue and replaced on the following runners -:
 
Race 1 The Last Crusade – Apprentice S Nielson
Race 3 Light Up The Dawn – J Baker
 
Apprentice S McCann will be required to provide a medical clearance prior to riding again.
 
Race 1: BENCMARK 50 HANDICAP 1100m
 
The starting time of this race rescheduled (back 15 minutes) to 1.30 p.m. due to Apprentice S Nielson, who was a late riding replacement, being delayed on route to the track.
 
HI ZERO – Broke loose from the tie up stalls pre-race before being quickly recaptured. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.
 
MINISTER – Jumped in at the start and contacted THE LAST CRUSADE. Raced wide throughout.
 
THE LAST CRUSADE – Collided withMINISTER on jumping.
 
MISTER MODERATION – Trainer D Ballard reported after the event that the gelding was fractious and appeared uncomfortable. A postrace veterinary examination  no abnormalities however the gelding was precautionary treated by the Club Veterinary Officer to prevent any issues of tying up. A Veterinary certificate of fitness will be required prior to MISTER MODERATION racing again.
 
 
Race 2: OPEN HANDICAP 1100m

PRIMAL SCREAM – Fractious in the parade ring and was late progressing to the start.Jumped out at the start tightening LAST DESCEND.
 
WICKED WIKI – Fractious in the parade ring and was late progressing to the start.Jumped inwards at the start hampering other runners.
 
GAMBOA – Raced three wide throughout.
 
READY FOR MAGIC – Raced wide and tired.
 
ZUMIKON – Crowded at the start.
 
LAST DESCEND – Severely checked at the startwhen tightened for room between runners PRIMAL SCREEN and ZUMIKON which was sharply taken inwards by WICKED WIK. Raced wide thereafter.
 
 
Race 3: QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1200m
 
ADASHAN – Jumped inwards at the start hamperingSPOT ON SOPHIA
 
GEORGY THE GREAT – Raced three wide throughout.
 
LORD KENNY – Raced four wide throughout.
 
MR SQUIGGLE’S MATE – On returning to scale Apprentice S Nielson reported that the gelding wanted to hang out throughout the event in particular on the home turn.
 
FABULOUS HOFFA – Jumped inwards at the start. Momentarily placed in restricted room at the 500 metres when racing to the inside of GEORGY THE GREAT.
 
SPOT ON SOPHIA – Hampered on jumping.
 
 
Race 4: BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1350m
 
 
AREYA TUCHUZY – Raced three wide throughout.
 
BITTERBLUE NZ - Jockey D Sparks reported being struck on the lower jaw by a rock at the 500 metres.
 
Following this race Jockey D Sparks (BITTERBLUE NZ) reported ill and was replaced in Race 5 (COUNT OF CARFORD) by Apprentice S Nielson.
Jockey D Sparks will be required to provide a medical clearance prior to riding again.
 
 
Race 5: BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1350m
