Jockey R McMaster reported injured in track incident and was replaced on the following mounts:
R Hammond on Racket Race 2
R Hammond on Service Sheet Race 3
No ride available Idris Race 4 – scratched
RACE 1: MAIDEN H'CAP – 1000m
Race 1 delayed when Longreach float was late to arrive on the course. Jockey S Oates was also on the float.
T Austin dislodged twice from Celebrity Storm on the way to the barriers. T Austin was uninjured and took his place in the race.
Shortly after the start Eternal Habit ducked in sharply coming into contact with Celebrity Storm which in turn shifted in causing Lochart to be inconvenienced and lose ground. Eternal Habit shifted ground in the straight but straightened when Celebrity Storm raced up on its outside.
RACE 2: OPEN H'CAP – 1000m
Nothing to report
RACE 3: CLASS 5 H'CAP – 1200m
Slight delay due to the barriers being moved to its correct location and being bogged in the loose dirt.
T Austin permitted to ride Jobrega 2.5kg over due to a shortage of riders.
RACE 4: CLASS 2 H’cap - 1400m
T Austin permitted to ride Arctic Circle 2.5kg over due to a shortage of riders.
Idris scratched when R McMaster reported injured and no other rider available.
RACE 5: OPEN H'CAP – 1050m
Track was watered prior to race due to dusty conditions.

RACE 6: OPEN HCAP (Jundah Cup) – 1600m
Nothing to report.
