Race 1: KILCOY DIGGERS/EAST TIMOR VETERANS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1900m
MAGIC WISHES – Steadied when placed in restricted room to the inside of ESKIMO KISS when approaching the 1400m.
HOSTILE STAR – After becoming fractious in the mounting enclosure underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared fit to start.
PRONOUNCEMENT – Raced wide in the early and middle stages before being allowed to stride forward and take up a position outside the leader passing the 800m.
NOTORIETY – Slow to begin. Raced wide in the early stages. Approaching the 100m laid out under pressure.
STARRY BEAUTY – Slow to begin.
LYON’S NAME – Jumped awkwardly. Made the crossing awkwardly slipped on the first occasion.
 
Race 2: BUTLER MCDERMOTT LAWYERS VIETNAM VETERANS CUP 0-55 HANDICAP 1900m
RESONARE – Leaving the 400m shifted wider to avoid heels of the weakening SOARING HEART. Short distance later shifted wider to obtain clear running rounding the home turn, forcing DYDEE’S GIRL wider.
DYDEE’S GIRL –  Forced wider rounding the home turn.
SIR PELLIAS – Bumped by DYDEE’S GIRL when rounding the home turn. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
PRUNDA – When questioned regarding today’s performance, Trainer S.Parsons noted it was his intention to liaise with owners in regards to sending the gelding to spell.
GRATSIE – Raced wide in the early stages before being allowed to stride forward to obtain a position outside the leader approaching the 1100m
SOARING HEART – Weakened from the 400m.
 
Race 3: TAB/RIFLE COMPANY BUTTERWORTH VETERAN MAIDEN HANDICAP 1060m
SIR WHITTINGTON – Shifted out shortly after the start inconveniencing TINDER LOVING CARE.
CRAIGLEA COURTNEY – Bucked shortly the start. Raced greenly rounding the 700m turn and proved difficult to ride. Stewards advised Trainer K.Johnston that the filly would be required to trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to its next race start.
TINDER LOVING CARE – Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Shortly after was steadied when SIR WHITTINGTON shifted out abruptly. App. T.Wheeler was dislodged shortly after the winning post when his mount improved quickly to the inside of the tiring PRUNDA which  laid in momentarily despite the efforts of its rider, resulting his mount clipping heels and falling. App T.Wheeler was examined by QAS and was stood down from his remaining engagements and advised that he would require a medical clearance prior to riding again. As App. T.Wheeler was indisposed due to inury, riding replacements were made in Races 4 and 7 as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.
CRAIGLEA DANIEL – Raced 3 wide with cover throughout.
NO NO NINETTE – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as the mare hadn’t raced in the past 12 months and was cleared fit to start.
YOUPE – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.

Race 4: KILCOY EXCHANGE HOTEL/RWANDA VETERANS CLASS 1 PLATE 1060m
ADAYONDEK underwent a pre-race veterinary examination which revealed that the mare was lame in the off fore leg and subsequently was declared a late scratching at 2.04pm under veterinary advice. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to its next race start.  
Stewards ordered that all monies invested prior on ADAYONDEK  to be refunded in full with the following deductions to apply for successful bets:
0 cents in the dollar for the win - #11 (MISS LUCINDA)
2 cents in the dollar for the place of winner - #11 (MISS LUCINDA)
1 cents in the dollar for second place - #6 (WOODLEY’S GOLD)
1 cents in the dollar for third place - #3 (EL PRADOS)
 
The start was delayed when CHEESIE became fractious and lunged at the gates and underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared fit to start. The start was further delayed when PADDLES became fractious and also underwent a pre-race veterinary examination was cleared fit to start.
EL PRADOS – Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages to the inside of MISS LUCINDA.
COFFEE COMING – Jumped awkwardly and shifted out. Improved onto the heels of CHEESIE and had to be steadied. Over the concluding stages became awkward and had to be steadied, when placed in restricted room over the to the outside of PADDLES which shifted out marginally and inside of ROOTS’N’ROCKS which laid in under pressure.
ROOTS’N’ROCKS – Tightened upon jumping and lost ground.
WOODLEY’S GOLD – Shifted wider at the 600m to obtain clear running.
CURRY CONNECTION – Raced 3 wide without cover. At the 600m was forced wider by WOODLEY’S GOLD.
PADDLES – Raced wide for majority. Shifted out marginally over the concluding stages.

Race 5: PETER BOYCE/AFGHANISTAN VETERANS CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1060m
BEWARE – Jumped awkwardly and shifted out.
ALL STARS – Tightened between runners on jumping and lost ground.
SWAN ISLAND – Tightened between runners on jumping and lost ground. Leaving the 900m had to be steadied when placed in restricted room to the inside of HAVASHOUT which shifted in abruptly. App. R.Wilson was reminded of her obligations when allowing her mounts to shift ground.
ARQUERA – Raced wide in the early stages.
LET’S GO BOBBY – Stewards questioned Trainer P Jenkins and  App. A Thompson in regards to the tactics adopted in the early stages, where the mare was restrained out of the barriers and took up a position further back than anticipated, which is in contrast to its most recent racing pattern. App. Thompson stated to avoid pressuring the mare early and being caught wide, it was his intention to restrain LET’S GO BOBBY out of the barriers and obtain a position closer to the fence trailing the leaders.  He added that after being restrained his mount failed to muster speed and leaving the 900m he had runners come back in the field which resulted in his mount being positioned further back in the than originally intended. Stewards noted the explanations tendered by both rider and trainer and  reminded Trainer P.Jenkins of his obligations to notify Stewards of a change of tactics in the future. 
TREMBLING – Jockey A.Spinks reported that his mount was inclined to hang out throughout and proved difficult to ride. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings. Trainer J Hepworth was advised a warning will be placed on the geldings racing manners

Race 6: BRIBIE ISLAND RSL SUB BRANCH/KOREAN VETERANS 0-55 HANDICAP 1200m
LETS TORQUE A DEEL – Approaching the 300m steadied when racing in restricted room to the inside of ZOLLIKON MISS which laid in when weakening.
CLICKETY CLICKS – Jumped awkwardly and shifted out.
SINISTER PRINCESS – Tightened between runners on jumping and lost ground.
ZOLLIKON MISS –  Leaving the 800m had to be steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of HEART OF AUSTRALIA.
TEDDER EXPRESS – Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
ZOU YORK – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.

Race 7: THANKS TATTERSALL RACING CLUB 0-55 HANDICAP 1200m
MORION – Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the inside barrier partition.
PRIMMISCUOUS – Jockey A.Sewell reported that his mount had a tendency to hang out. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no significant findings.
EMOTIVE MOUNTAIN –  Slow to begin.
DARCI’S MONEY – Made the home turn wide.
DER SEIGER – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
DUELLATOR – Raced 3 wide with cover.
THAT’S HER I THINK – Jumped awkwardly and threw its head in the air losing significant ground. Made the home turn wide.
HARRY’S STAR – Raced 3 wide without cover throughout.

Race 8: SEARLE FAMILY KILCOY/IRAQ VETERANS BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1500m
DEBONAIR DES – Raced wide in the early and middle stages.
GAMBIT – Held up rounding the home turn.
SANJAY – Hung out badly rounding the first turn. Raced wide throughout. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed the gelding to be suffering from signs of distress and poor post race recovery.  Connections were advised that the gelding will require a endoscopic examination and veterinary clearance prior to starting again.
PRIOR ENGAGEMENT – Post race veterinary examination revealed that the bled from both nostrils. Ineligible to race for 3 months and before starting again must gallop satisfactorily over 1000m in the presence of a steward.
SPOOLING – Inclined to hang in throughout the straight.
ANGEL LASS – Made the first turn awkwardly and shifted wider. Jockey Lyon reported that in his opinion ANGEL LASS did not appreciate the tight turning track or the step up in distance in today’s event.
