Race 1: CORNETTS IGA LONGREACH MAIDEN PLATE 800m:
1st – BELLACIANO 2nd – CRAIGLEA CYCLONE 3rd – ZATHURA 4th – FOUR STRONG WINDS

BELLACIANO (K Ballard) was slow into stride.
DOINGITTUFF (C Rogers) was slow away and raced wide throughout.
LOGANS SAVANNAH (R Bellert) raced wide from the 400m.

Race 2: L & H ELECTRICAL WHOLESALES CLASS B HANDICAP 1000m:
1st – HEADSHRINKER 2nd – BILLKAY 3rd – CAN’T BE TOLD 4th – MOJACH

R. Cox was the rider of HEADSHRINKER.
CRAIGLEA ICE (L. Appo) ducked out sharply at the start, lost its footing and blundered, which dislodged the rider shortly after the start.
ITALIAN EMPRESS (C. Rogers) commenced to buck approximately 100m after the start and dislodged the rider. Both jockeys were attended to by ambulance officers and cleared to continue riding for the remainder of the meeting.
Both horses were examined by the vet and ITALIAN EMPRESS suffered no injuries however CRAIGLEA ICE needed to be attended to by the veterinarian.
Trainer H. Forster (ITALIAN EMPRESS) was advised that the mare would be required to complete a barrier jump-out prior to racing again.


Race 3: PETER ANDERSON & SHAUN HARRIS BOOKMAKERS CLASS 6 PLATE 1000m:
1st – CRAIGLEA CHEVY 2nd – MR TOMBOLA 3rd – FLIPPER MACARTNEY 4th – PALOLO DEEP


R. Mules was the rider of MEDIUM’N’RARE.
TUSCAN BLAZE (R. Bellert) and MONOTOP (M. Barnham) were both slow away.
Approaching the 400m PALOLO DEEP (K. Ballard) had to be eased from the heels of CRAIGLEA CHEVY (L .Appo). Stewards inquired into the incident and it was established that GIDYEA COALS (D. Rewald) was tiring and CRAIGLEA CHEVY (L. Appo) shifted in momentarily, contributing to the situation. Jockey L. Appo was cautioned and reminded of his obligation to keep his mount straight.


Race 4: HOUSE PROUD LONGREACH QTIS CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1200m:
1st – CRAIGLEA CONVICT 2nd – EXERTION 3rd – BI QUALO 4th – EXONERATED

MANU PERU (M. Barnham) was slow into stride.
Jockey M.Barnham requested to view the start before correct weight was given as he thought his gate was slow to open. On viewing the footage it was deemed that his mount MANU PERU was given a fair start and correct weight was given.

Race 5: GARRY & GENELL BROWNE SMASH REPAIRS OPEN HANDICAP 1100m:
1st – DIGGING DEEP 2nd – DECERTO 3rd – STUFF UP 4th -- INNARTO

STUFF UP (C. Dixon) jumped awkwardly.
DIGGING DEEP (D. Monaghan) traveled wide for the majority of the race.
INDOLLARGENCE (D. Brown) raced wide from the 500m.

ALL WINNERS WERE SENT TO BE SWABBED.
