Race 1: REGIONAL EXPRESS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres
 
MISS MARLO – Proved extremely difficult to load and was fractious in the gates. Slow to begin.
 
MOUNTAIN BREEZE – Raced greenly.
 
ULTIMATE TESTA – Raced greenly and jockey McMaster stated the filly would benefit from the removal of the blinkers and nose roll. Contacted the inside running rail shortly after the finish line.
 
SAURABH – Hung out down the home straight.
 
Race 2: SAUNDERS ELECTRICS CONTRACTING BM 60 HANDICAP - 1000 metres 
 
DRINKING COCKTAILS – Upon jumping the gate swung back hitting jockey Haley’s shoulder. Jockey Haley was attended to by ambulance officers after the race and cleared to continue riding.
 
KAKAKENNY – Slow to begin.
 
GREEN LIGHT – Travelled wide for much of the event and shifted in slightly over the concluding stages hampering an inside runner.
 
SPECK OF GOLD – Eased slightly over the concluding stages when and outside runner shifted ground.
 
 
Race 3: RAY WHITE LONGREACH CLASS B HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
I KAN CONQUER – Fractious in the barriers prior to starting and over raced in the early stages.
 
ARMANI PRINCE – Slow to begin and travelled wide for the majority.
 
MUCHAS CORONAS – Jockey Abe weighed in light after the running of race 3 and was fined $200 under AR.143(b). The amount of weight under the allotted weight was not in excess of ½ kilogram to not require the horse being disqualified.
 
 
Race 4: RAY WHITE LONGREACH BM 70 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
MONTIRO was a late scratching at 12:30pm due to no rider being available.
 
Jockey M. Abe was fined $200 under AR175. (k) due to negligence when weighing out for the ride on MAKE AMENDS.
 
WICKED WOODY – Slow to begin and slow into stride.
 
HOLEY GADOLEY – Shifted in at the 75m and had to be corrected.
 
 
Race 5: O’BRIEN’S GARAGE CLASS 3 PLATE - 1400 metres      
 
No incidents in running.
