Race 1: ARMISTICE DAY CEREMONY MAIDEN PLATE - 1100 metres
 
SERIOUS CAPER – Knuckled at the start and jumped awkwardly, then hung the majority of the event.
 
VALENTINE’S DAY – Jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride.
 
Race 2: VIETNAM VETERANS QTIS CLASS 2 HANDICAP - 1200 metres 
 
 
COME BY CHANCE – Jockey N. Fazackerley lost an iron on jumping but regained it shortly after, then travelled wide.
 
ANY GLORY – Slow into stride.
 
BAYSIDE BANDIT – Slow into stride and jockey B. Richardson stated the gelding felt awkward in his action early but when straightened up at the top of the straight stretched out well.
 
LEND ME A TENNER – Hung in down the home straight.
 
Race 3: 1914-2018 100 YEARS OF ANZAC RATINGS BAND 0 – 60 HANDICAP - 1400 metres  
 
TUXEDO BOY - Jumped outwards taking outside runners wider on the track, travelled wide then hung in down the home straight.
 
ITALIAN SON – Taken wider on the track when an inside runner jumped outwards.
 
NO OTHER WAY – Taken wider on the track when an inside runner jumped outwards.
 
ASHIKO – Slow to begin.
 
IBELIEVEINMIRACLES – Travelled wide in the latter stages of the race.
 
Race 4: LONGREACH RSL SUB BRANCH DIGGERS’ CUP OPEN PLATE - 1400 metres  
 
MENACING – Slow to begin.
 
AMADEO – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.
 
Race 5: LONGREACH RSL MEMORIAL SERVICES CLUB INC. OPEN HANDICAP - 1000 metres      
 
GO SAI – Travelled wide for the majority of the race.
 
GIRLS AWAY – Fractious in the barriers prior to jumping, then lay in down the home straight hampering an inside runner near the 150m before being straightened. Apprentice N. Fazackerley was reminded of his obligation to keep his mount straight.
 
ALPINE GOLD – Eased leaving the 150m when runners either side shifted ground.
 
DRINKING COCKTAILS – Shifted out over the concluding stages and was corrected on several occasions.
